Blessed high-end rock-infused shirts make a difference and inspire thankful living. We give back by helping those who are not as blessed with good health as a way of giving thanks for our blessings. We do this through financial donations from every garment we sell to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, World Vision, through raising awareness about our message and special community projects.
If you are willing to spend time and money on anything, it is only logical to use the same amount of cash and intelligence on purchasing goods that make a change. In a world plagued by lifestyle choices that promote self-gratification, addiction and greed, we want to inspire people to live thankfully and to invest in the prosperity of humanity by reaching out to those who truly need it.
Our brand embodies what it means to live thankfully. We believe that, especially as Americans, we should give thanks. To give thanks reminds us of the most fundamental, yet most of the time easily overlooked, aspects of life?Home, Family, Health, Food, Freedom ?and encourages us to experience deep appreciation for your abundance in each of these areas. As a result, to give thanks becomes a morally beneficial emotional state that encourages reciprocal kindness.
We believe our health and ability to be well nourished are the most easily overlooked blessings, which is why we chose St. Jude and World Vision as the main causes of our charitable efforts. If you wake up every morning and you're healthy and able, you've been blessed and should give thanks for another healthy day.
St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility anywhere. Discoveries made there have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. It's where doctors across the world send their toughest cases and most vulnerable patients. It's where no one pays for treatment beyond what is covered by insurance, and those without insurance are never asked to pay. We want to help St. Jude continue to change the lives of their patients, so they can enjoy the many blessings of life.
World Vision is a Christian relief and development organization dedicated to implement projects that help communities address the root causes - not just the symptoms - of poverty.
We want to abolish overall ungratefulness and inspire people to live thankfully. We see that most Americans live in a constant state of unhappiness. A Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with their situation..
Why are we so unhappy? Could it be that 96 percent of these unhappy people have a job? Maybe it's the ability to walk into a grocery store and see more food in a second than the people in Darfur have seen in one year? This is all in neighborhoods free of bombs or militias abusing the residents, and neighborhoods where 90 percent of teenagers own cell phones and computers. How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy? Maybe that's what has 67 percent of you folks unhappy!
The concept of the Blessed brand was inspired by an immense appreciation for life, the human spirit and the fact that we live in the most blessed country in the world. We believe that nothing is more valuable than human life, and we know the world changes one person at a time. We want to spread the concept of thankful living and that using our blessings purposefully will bring change to the world. We believe in the idea that being thankful, serving and giving to others is more gratifying, more powerful and more purposeful to the human heart and race than serving yourself. We want to implement this concept one shirt at a time.
So buy a shirt, look good, and help make a change.
Let this be your way of giving thanks, your way of giving back.
