Jedidiah Bayes (Jed for short) is a Christian Musician who has had God's calling on his life for many years now and has answered His call through his ministry of music.
Jed has been classically trained on the piano for several years now, and through his piano practice he has picked up the guitar all on his own, and has incorporated his Gospel and Country roots with his young contemporary style, and has created a unique sound that speaks straight to one's heart. He just recently has discovered his vocal talent and is using it for the praise and glory of God, and God only.
His main goal is to "seek and to save that which was lost". He beleives that is why we were created, to praise God and reach the world to Christ, so that they too can praise God. He has such a world vision but he also beleives that it starts at home, and is starting out small and reaching West Virginia to Christ, and wherever God would lead him in the future.
He is also a talented song writer, writing songs such as "Undone", "Greater Love" and of course "Mountains Roll On" better known as "The West Virginia Song". He has also written songs for others to sing such as "Lord You Are" by Fully Immersed. He has a music knowlege that is truly a gift! Not only does he write songs but he remakes hymns such as "Jesus Loves Me", and can redo newer songs such as "Word of God Speak" or "Shout to The Lord".

"Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul. While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while i have any being" Psalm 146:1-2
Commision + Compassion = the world to Christ
If you are unsure about what it means to be a Christian and want to know more, then look at this information below.
Plan of salvation:
Man was created to be a companion to God. In the garden of Eden, God told man, he could not eat of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge. Satan convinced Eve to eat of the fruit and she gave it to Adam. At this point man knew sin. God could not look upon sin so man was set apart from God. Sin became so out of control that God destroyed the earth by water. The only survivors were Noah and his family on the ark. After the waters receded, the earth was repopulated, but sin was still a part of mankind.
In the Old Testament, it is prophesized that one would come to save man from his sin and become the sacrificial lamb. The New Testament is a record of Jesus Christ coming down from Heaven and becoming man in the flesh. He knew no sin but died on a cross for all of our sins. He said if anyone comes to me and confesses me before men then I will confess him to the Father.
Man has been appointed to die once, but the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ Our Lord can prevent the second death. The second death is an eternal damnation to a living hell. This means that anyone who rejects Jesus as Lord and Savior on earth will be condemned to the second death and torture in hell for eternity.
You might ask "How do I keep from living in hell when I die?" and how do I get to heaven". Jesus said come as you are with all your fault, problems, and fears. He will take the load from you. The key to salvation is being honest and realizing you are a sinner and want to be saved. Then asking Jesus to come into your heart and live with you forever. That commitment is life changing. That's all there is to it. So simple, yet so many refuse it. We are all sinners, some saved by grace and some not.
Roman Road to Salvation
Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
If you have never heard of this Roman Road to Salvation, please take time to realize that we all are sinners by birth. Once you acknowledge this fact, you need to know that God gave His Son, Jesus, to die upon a cross for you and me. All you have to do to be saved is to realize you are a sinner, ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, and ask Him into your heart as your Savior and Lord from this point on. If you are sincere, truly believe, and have prayed the sinner's prayer, then Jesus has forgiven you and has become your Savior and Lord. Then you can live forever in Heaven. It only takes one time and it lasts an eternity! Won't you accept Him today?
