Powerhouse FM and its' sister station, Powerhouse 64, are Christian hit radio for the internet.
Powerhouse FM started August 24, 2006 as an outgrowth of another station which at the time had been Top 40, Hot Country Hits, and Hot Christian Hits. The listener numbers as a multi genre station never were great. So a decision was made to remove country completely, and then start a Christian hit station. After a few format changes the former multi genre hits station is now Powerhouse 64.
Currently, Powerhouse FM and Powerhouse 64 are 24/7 Christian music. Saturday nights at 8 ET, Powerhouse FM airs "Spin 180", a 2 hour Christian indie alternative show.
