Each person has had different influences but as a whole I'd say the group has been influenced by the greats in southern gospel music. Groups like the legendary Cathedrals, Kingsmen, Gold City, Hoppers and Happy Goodmans.

About PromisedLand Quartet
|
|
PromisedLand Quartet has been together for 9 years. It was formed in January, 2000 by current and original members Gene Hamman, Kevin Minnick and Joey Wilson. The original bass singer, Wesley Allen, left in 2002 and the vacant position was filled by Joe Brinkley who joined in June of that year. PLQ has traveled all over the country making friends all along the way.
The group has enjoyed radio success with songs like: Brand New Heart, In The Morning, Joy's Gonna Come, Crown Him King, Gods Word Will Stand, Carved In Stone and many more.
The group is currently on the Lion and Lamb Record Label, and we do our recording with Rushing Winds Studio in Dallas, North Carolina. This great studio is where PLQ has gone to record from day one and Gary Rushing has become a valued friend of the group.
To date PLQ has recorded 8 CD's and two videos with the newest video being shot in York PA. These videos and CD's are available online at www.promisedlandquartet.com in our online store. We are able to take all debit and major credit cards with the exception of American Express.

Hey, guys!
I'm so disappointed that I can't hear your concert today! I live literally right around the corner from that adorable little church, but I'm having a crowd of family members over for Fathers' Day dinner. Maybe next time you're performing in the area! (As a gal who 'once upon a time' earned her living singing and playing guitar, I love to support musicians!)

Hello
