Wondering why it is taking my precious children 3 hours to clean their playroom...

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my shoutlife page. If you get a chance, stop by Twitter at www.twitter.com/pennyzeller or my blog at www.pennyzeller.wordpress.com.
I am a wife to my wonderful husband, Lon (of 17 years, wow!!! - yes, we got married really young!), mother of two elementary-aged daughters, and a Christian author/speaker.
I have written three books to date, with the two more to be released in the near future. The first, tentatively titled "McKenzie" will be released by Whitaker House in September 2010 and is the first in a three-part series of historical Christian romance novels. The second is to be released by Beacon Hill Press and is tentatively titled "Help Me, I'm Drowning: A Life Preserver for Moms." The title says it all! I am also the author of numerous articles in national and regional publications.
I was bitten with the writing bug at age seven when I began writing Bible stories in my own words. I also wrote fiction stories about a dog named Muffie and her adventures, as well as other short stories neatly composed in homemade wallpaper-covered cardboard books.
I am excited to be breaking into writing women's fiction. I owe all my inspiration to the Lord - He truly is amazing!
My passion is to is to use the gift of writing the Lord has blessed me with to further His Kingdom.
Come follow me on Twitter at www.twitter.com/pennyzeller or check out my blog at www.pennyzeller/wordpress.com. I'm also on Facebook.

I know that the Lord blessed each of us with gifts and talents. I also know that when those gifts and talents were being handed out, there was one that I didn't get?the gift of being a hairstylist.
Case in point:
(For some reason I couldn't get...

Thanks Penny!
Yes, your husband is a good sport! Mine would never agree to let me post pics like that of him.
We are well here. I'm getting over a cold and thanking God that no one else in the house got it. I'm also nursing a cut finger, but also thankful I didn't have to get stitches.
I was slicing some mozzarella cheese and the serated knife slipped. I tried for around 30 minutes to stop the bleeding to no avail. So when hubby got home, we headed for the urgent care, after he applied butterfly bandage.
I kept pressure on it for the ten minute ride and signed in. When they called me to the desk, my husband told me to look at it to see if it was still bleeding. Praise God, it had stopped, so I opted not to to stay. We went home, added another butterfly and he took me out to dinner, adding if I wanted to go out to dinner, all I had to do was so say! LOL!
My nephew misses family, but is happy to be serving his country. He says he thinks it will be May when he comes home on leave. But praise God, he and his men are all well.
Have a very blessed weekend.

Is your hubby's name Lonnie?
My Dad's Dad's name was Lonnie.
I'm good, thanks for asking.

Thanks, Penny, for your kind words and well wishes.
The Lord has, indeed, used me for His Kingdom. I was talking about that just yesterday, during the taping of the "I'm Just Sayin'" show for TCT network. The Spirit led every on-camera second!
The same right back atcha, m'dear!
Blessings on your weekend,
Loree

Thanks for joining in on the praise! Can't wait to get that contract signed, get our stuff, and move in up here. Woo hoo!
By the way, that Buffalo preserve sounds like a great idea. Perhaps, we can use that to lower our taxes on our new home. :)

Greetings Penny, If I can be of any assistance in bringing your vision to pass, please make it known. We are all interdependent on each other and we all have something to contribute.
I am not afraid of being "used". Only useful people get used.

Thank you so much Penney. It seems I have always had a decorated page. I just kind of wanted a plain one with pretty graphics for a while. I admire other people's pages like that too.
I hope you have a great week. God bless you.
