AS I WAS LISTENING THIS MORNING ON MY WAY OUT TO WORK, GOOD MORNING AMERICA HAD A GROUP OF 4 MEN ON FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRYS SINGING AMAZING GRACE. THEY ARE CALLED IIDIVO...ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL...
I MARVELED AT THE POWER OF THEIR VOICES, THE SENSE OF UNITY I FELT, THE PERFECT HARMONY AND RANGE OF EACH MAN'S VOICE, THE BAGPIPES AND THE OUTSTANDING VOICE AT THE END. MY HUSBAND AND I STOOD IN AWE AS WE LISTENED TO ONE OF THE GREATEST HYMNS EVER WRITTEN.
AMAZING GRACE! and IT IS AMAZING. GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE.......
GRACE......SO FREE, SO FULL OF MERCY.........
I DON'T THINK WE CAN REALLY GRASP JUST HOW POWERFUL, HOW FAR REACHING, HOW AMAZING IS THAT WORD!!! I THINK ITS ACTUAL MEANING IS SO FAR ABOVE US THAT WE CAN'T REALLY EVEN, IN OUR LITTLE FINITE MINDS, UNDERSTAND JUST WHAT OUR FATHER DID FOR US. WE WERE LOST, DOOMED TO AN ETERNAL HELL, GOING OUR OWN WAY, NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING HIM, LIVING OUR OWN LIVES........
BUT GOD....... IN HIS "AMAZING" LOVE, CALLED US, BID US COME AND DINE AND HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM. HE LOVED US WHILE WE WERE STILL UNLOVELY..BOUND BY SIN, BUT YET, HE REACHED INTO OUR HEARTS DRAWING US TO HIMSELF......THAT IS AMAZING ENOUGH...... HUMAN LOVE, PHILEO LOVE, SAYS, I WILL LOVE YOU IF YOU LOVE ME, AND AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME....
BUT GOD SAYS, I LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY.... AND WITH ARMS OPEN WIDE, HE INVITES US IN.........READY TO FORGIVE, READY TO HEAL OUR HURTS, READY TO BLESS US BEYOND OUR WILDEST DREAMS......
AND IN THAT GREAT LOVE, WE FIND FORGIVENESS, HEALING, RESTORATION, PARDON, FULFILLMENT...HIS LOVE IS SO AMAZING, HE GIVES US FREE CHOICE STILL!! TO CHOOSE TO RECIEVE HIS GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE. HE LONGS TO WRAP HIS ARMS OF LOVE AROUND US.....AMAZING ISN'T IT?

From time to time I get the opportunity to hear very special CD releases, and "This Same Yeshua", by Miriam Givoni, is one of the best in this category. This wonderful group of songs, directly from Israel, provides Praise and Worship in a family context, which is a wholesome reminder that the family can and should be the basis of our relationship with God. This morning in my reading time, I was so blessed by this story (MY BLOG THIS MORNING....) and it took me back to a place in Kansas one year....I was speaking at a church there. It was winter and the weather was bad, cold and rainy. We had already had a couple of meetings and the last night I was going to sing at a town function where everyone was invited... The weather turned off worse that afternoon and the snow had began to fall. By the time of the meeting, we were in the midst of a blizzard. Blowing snow and cold. Questions were asked, "should we go on, will the roads be bad not only for us to get into town, but what about those traveling, would anyone come? All the questions. But, we knew we were there on a mission, the service had been planned, no matter what, we would go on and weather the storm.
The town hall was packed, there was laughter everywhere and the snow was knee deep outside, but the spirits were higher on the inside. Needless to say, it was one of the times I remember so vividly where the Lord in His love and grace, poured out His blessings abundantly. It was so powerful and lives were touched and changed. I shared my testimony and sang like there was no tomorrow. After it was over, a young girl came up to me with tears streaming down her face. She had a big old fur coat on and rubber boots... She thanked me for coming to Kansas and then told me her story. She had walked across town in blizzard weather, to come to hear the girl from Oklahoma sing and tell about Jesus......The snow had not stopped her...She had no way to get there but walk!!!
I don't need to tell you, I shed tears with her, held her and told her how much Jesus loved her and how special she was. I will always remember that meeting. No matter how large or small the audience, sunshine or rain, you never know who is sitting out there on the other side listening to a song, a word, something that will be the difference in his or her life for eternity....You just never know. You may be before a king and not realize it, so let Him flow thru you and give it your best!!!! When your singing or speaking about Him, all heaven stands in attention at just the mention of His name...What an audience!!

Thanks for the friend request! Love the upbeat tempo of your music. That's the one thing I feel is missing from mainstream Christian music, at least in my market here in Michigan. Keep up the great work for His Kingdom, and may God continue to bless you and your music ministry.
