General Interests
I like to travel, read and listen to music. I enjoy gardening and watching old films for relaxation. I'm tracing my family's genealogy with some success.
Music
Most favorite is any classical piece that contains the trumpet (especially Corelli,Torelli and Purcell). Handel is my favorite composer. Also enjoy sacred music with a choral group. Favorite vocal artists are Sarah Brightman and Josh Groban. Also like to listen to Marty Goetz.
Books
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Night Song, Redeeming Love, Color of the Soul, Rekindled, A Bride Most Begrudging, Waiting for Summer's Return, The Mountain Life Legacy Series by B.J. Hoff, An Irishwoman's Tale.
Movies/TV
Shadowlands with Anthony Hopkins, Pride and Prejudice with Collin Firth,, Amazing Grace, The Ultimate Gift, Mission (for adventure, scenery, music and story). I enjoyed seeing the DVDs of the Waltons (Earl Hamner a/k/a John Boy was a young aspiring writer during the Depression years). Centennial series based on the novel by James Michener, old WWI & WWII movies.

About Pat Jeanne Davis
I'm a wife and mom who's been writing for 7 years. I love sharing my experiences while raising 2 boys. My articles and stories from a Christian perspective have appeared in national and regional publications. I also enjoy going back into the past and learning more about other times and cultures, but I tend to get lost in research when I should be writing the story. I've written an historical inspirational, working on its sequel while sending out queries and book proposals. Without my hubby's encouragement and assistance I wouldn't have completed this novel.

I want to get to know other writers and share experiences. I'm looking forward to the Greater Philly Writer's Conference and hope to meet some of you there.
