I like to travel, read and listen to music. I enjoy gardening and watching old films for relaxation. I'm tracing my family's genealogy with some success.

Most favorite is any classical piece that contains the trumpet (especially Corelli,Torelli and Purcell).Handel is my favorite composer. Also enjoy sacred music with a choral group. Favorite vocal artists are Sarah Brightman, Katherine Jenkins, Susan Boyle, Josh Groban, Marty Goetz.

I'm a wife, mom and writer of mainly non-fiction. I love sharing my experiences while raising two boys. My articles and essays have appeared in national and regional publications.I did a book signing in Philadelphia for Chicken Soup for the Soul Count Your Blessings which released in November 2009.
I also enjoy going back into the past and learning more about major events in history and how they impact the lives of people.I enjoy the research so much that I tend to get lost in it when I should be writing the novel. I've completed a WWII novel and working on its sequel. Two of my short stories will be appearing online, one at Christian Fiction Online Magazine in December 2009.

I tied for second place in historical category in Novel Journey's Out of the Slush Pile Contest with my yet unpublished novel "When Valleys Bloom Again" in January 2010.

I would like to get to know other writers and share experiences.
