I write a weekly inspirational newspaper column, and work as a correspondent writer/photographer for this same daily paper. I host a podcast called "Daybreak Devotionals," teach Kids Super Church, and love telling stories. My newspaper editor once told me -- she thinks I have "blonde" blood - well, at least it isn't "gray" yet!

I am represented my Terry Burns at Hartline Literary Agency. I am looking for open doors for my "Faith Now" series, and my Christian living book "If Only" - Living a Life without Regret.
My latest book proposal "When Angel Sings Off-Key, God Hears Music" -- a humorous Christian living book endorsed by the presidential candidate Mike Huckabee!

That is my core message -- sharing Jesus with you, giving a piece of my heart instead of a piece of my mind.
Macy is my miniature schnauzer, she has no idea she is a dog - she sits in my lap when I write.

My boys are grown, 12 years apart - I have "two" only children. I am married to a photographer, who is also a worship leader at our church. He is going through his second childhood. He purchased a motorcycle two years ago and now wears "black leather." He wants me to ride with him, I have sat on the bike in the yard. Maybe I will let him start the motor someday. I am making progress. I have gone from "no" to "maybe" -- I am afraid. Shouldn't I be?
He won my heart 25 years ago with his blue eyes and singing voice. We met at a church revival, he was leading the worship service; wanted to know if I was single - my "yes" got me a date!
I got over the fact he wears cowboy boots on occasion.
