The ladies' first release, the self-titled "Out of Desperation" contains 5 original songs that the group incorporates into their ministry of worship.

Cheryl has been writing songs and leading people in worship since the early 1980s. Through out the years her music has been heard on the east coast of the United States as well as Nigeria, Africa. Cheryl has been the Minister of Music for various churches in South Carolina and Georgia since 1985.

Cheryl and her husband, Wayne, met during high school and married in 1977 while living in Charleston, South Carolina. Currently they live in St Marys, Georgia where Cheryl is a Licensed Practical Nurse. Cheryl and Wayne have two daughters, Jennifer and Chare' and three grandchildren, Logan, Maddison, and Jadyn. Cheryl's daughters travel and sing with her, co-writing many of their songs.

It was in 2000 when Cheryl and her family were faced with a desperate situation that the songs on their new CD titled HEALING IN THE HOUSE was birthed and their name "OUT of DESPERATION" was confirmed.

Out of Desperation is available to minister in music at women's events, ministry conferences, church services, and other special events where a spiritual break-through is needed and an encounter with Jesus is required.
