When we found this treasure, we knew it was worth everything we had, everything we were. We left our homes, our jobs, our past, and our dreams of the future, and we came together to begin a journey that would leave us all completely changed. As the years passed, more people came along- people who had spent their lives wondering if God was real, and if He had a purpose for mankind. When they lay eyes on this treasure, they too left all they had, to possess this treasure and be joined with us. This incredible life grew inside us all. "I have enjoyed my first listen, but it took me several attempts to get through everything at least once for two reason: 1) I got interupted so many times, and 2) the first/title track was so devastatingly gorgeous that I just kept hitting 'replay' and it was several attempts before getting to track 2....
I am so very impressed with the songwriting, the arranging, the simplicity and fullness, the earnestness of the singing and the purity of the sound. The closer - Adonai - is especially joyful and seems so very fitting as a ending of the CD that promises more to come. The whole project seems a soundtrack to living for the Most High, an offering of praise and adoration and a true fullness of spirit.
