About Nansy Grill
Greetings! I'm a writer, genealogist, humorist, and a former newspaper staff writer for the Cleveland Daily Banner. I've authored numerous articles for organizational bulletins, company newsletters, user manuals, and church publications. I joined a writing group in 2007 and in 2008 published my first short story. I fry my brain several days a week working on my first novel.

I wrote a children's book a few decades back, which I hope to publish. When I need to destress, I add a sentence or two to my collection of humor.

My husband, Lynn, and I have been married for 24 years. We have traveled extensively in the U.S. and lived in four states. In 1988, we took the trip of a lifetime to visit Egypt, Jordan, and Israel.

I graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College with a B.S. in Accounting and work as a Staff Accountant for a manufacturing facility near Chattanooga, TN.

Good Luck or Bad?   8/29/2009 - 6:20 AM
Several years ago, I heard a new definition for the word luck, and it stuck with me. From this perspective, we can choose our luck. The definition went like this. Luck is: Living Under Christ's Knowledge In this sense, we can choose good... (login or sign up to read more)

Changing Tunes   8/23/2009 - 5:51 AM
We may not have The Book of Job, if the main character changed his tune. If he allowed his friends or his wife to influence him or change his mind, Job's story could have turned out worse than it started. But, Job had his mind made up about God. And ... (login or sign up to read more)

Song Lyrics   8/15/2009 - 4:29 AM
The words are stuck in my head, around and around like a carousel. "Oh, how I love Jesus. Because, He first loved me." There's a line that sounds wrong "I'll never forsake Him." It's part of human frailty isn't it, turning our face away from His, ... (login or sign up to read more)
