God's Knight: My last Duty
I'm a knight from God's Temple. I remember when I got selected; I felt the passion, the honor, the strength and I cried with joy. I remember when I walked up to get knighted I thought I was going to faint. My stomach was turning. My legs were about to give out on me. But yet, I managed to get through it. It feels like if it was just yesterday.
I know why I am here. I was sent here to protect you. To keep you safe from the one's who want to harm you. To protect the things you own. And to give you the freedom God said you deserve. I fight to defend that freedom. And if evil succeed I will make them regret they ever met me. For I am God's knight and I will obey and die for his laws.
I feel God's power when I put on. It transforms into something better then myself. It makes me feel like I can do anything. Stare at evil in the face and laugh. I keep evil at bay by one swing of my sword. I am feared by most but not by all. There are some who don't care about what I believe in. Those are the ones who live recklessly. They want you to follow them. This is why I'm here.
Unfortunately, we are not invincible. We bleed and die like you. But it's okay; I know I have earned my keep. As I lie here waiting for my Knights to get here. I can see my foe lying next to me, dead. What a fight it wasI knew that if he would have gotten through me God only knows what would have happen to you.
There coming, I can hear the roars and feel the stomping on the ground as the floor trembles. What a sight it is. As I look up I can see the clouds swirling. In that instant a bean of light surrounds me. The Lord is here to take me home. I see him sitting in his alter looking at me. Suddenly, he points his sword at me. And hundreds Ark Angels line up parallel towards each other. They line up all the way down towards me. The Ark Angel closest to me looks at me and smiles. I feel the peace and no longer do I feel the fear. Two Ark Angels pick me up. As I stand, I see Michael the Ark Angel flying towards me. Michael stands in front of me and says, "Officer, thank you for your hard work and dedication. You kept others safe without thinking twice. And that little girl you just saved just now, earned you your wings and now you will join the honored ones. Follow me I will show you where you will live. Now, smile, Our Lord wants to meet with you."
