Michael originated from Winston/Salem, N.C. and is a singer/songwriter and musician and has ministered through gospel most of his life. He grew up around some of gospel music's greatest talents, such as his uncle Ken Turner, who for many years, sang bass for the world famous Blackwood Brothers Quartet.
In addition to traveling with Simple Faith Trio, Michael has a solo ministry. He has appeared at the Florida State Fair and many other venues with such greats as; Gold City, The Lewis Family, the Dixie Echos just to name a few.
Michael's goal in life is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ through song and word to as many people as he can.
The love and saving grace of Jesus Christ is always shared no matter where Michael performs.
Michael says his greatest influence has been his Mom, both musically and by seeing her walk by faith in Jesus.
Michael and his wife Brandy (he's biggest drive) live in Elizabeth Cith, N.C. with their 3 wonderful children. A son, Hunter and 2 daughters, Samantha and Madison.
Please keep Michael and Brandy's son Hunter in your prayers. He has severe autism with a seizure disorder. They are claiming God's healing touch. Pray with us, not just for Hunter, but for all the children afflicted.
In order to get Michael to come to your area, there is just a simple thing to do.....JUST GIVE HIM THE INVITATION to be there. Michael does not charge any fee for the ministry he does. With that being said just remember...."a servant is worth his heir...." A love offering will be greatly appreciated and a place (not in the Santuary) where Michael can set up a table to receive donations for his music.
