Hi, I'm Mary James the youngest member of the James Gang (also known as Mean Mary). I am a writer/musician/singer and have been performing music and writing songs since I was five years old.

My mother, Jean James, is my co-writer on several occasions. We have written numerous songs together and two suspense/romance novels. Most recently we have finished a devotional book which we wrote with my guitar-playing brother Frank James.

I am currently working on a new novel and ALWAYS writing songs. The rest of my time is usually spent on the road playing music and working on my TV show, "Mean Mary's Cafe Americana", that airs Tuesday nights and Thursday nights on channel 19 in Nashville.
