General Interests
My interests are so varied. I love getting away with my hubby, bonding with my girls, & the internet. I enjoy meeting people and hearing about their lives. I love being at church and being involved. I've recently become a Phoenix SUNS fan. (Who knew basketball could be so exciting!?!)
Music
Hmmm... I enjoy most Christian music. Love the WOW! CD's. I'm also a big fan of country. However, whenever I hear music from the 80's (my high school/college years), I smile so big! That music can take me back to such wonderful memories.
Books
I read a lot of self-help, psychology, Christian-themed. Right now, with 2 teen daughters still in the house, I'm reading a lot of "purity" books.
Movies/TV
Favorite movies: French Kiss, The Terminal, Pretty Woman, The Other Sister, & Six Days, Seven Nights. TV: So You Think You Can Dance, Flip This House, Stargate-SG1, Dog Whisperer, & Ugly Betty.

About Me
Where to begin? My life has been very full and quite interesting.

I'm 42, confined to a wheelchair due to a rare bone disease (Osteogenesis Imperfecta ~ brittle bones disease); I'm a full-time wife and step-mom to 3 daughters (12, 15, & 17) and a son (21). We home school the two oldest girls.

We moved from Minneapolis, MN, to a Phoenix, AZ, suburb about two years ago and we feel fairly acclimated to the desert now.

We're very involved in our church ~ Radiant Church ~ and absolutely love how it's such a large church but feels almost "quaint." We wish everyone could experience that feeling.

My life's journey has certainly had many, many pitstops, detours, and u-turns but God is so faithful. He has never stopped loving me and gently calling me back. It's always so much safer and peaceful to be walking in the shadow of the Almighty.

I would love to meet any and all who may share in what's going on in my life. I'd enjoy hearing about your life.

Be blessed!

God always hears us...   7/19/2007 - 10:24 AM
I received the following story in an email the other day and was touched. So often we want to hear God ~ right now! We get caught up in a situation and want God's immediate attention and assistance. Too often we forget that He is ALWAYS listening,... (login or sign up to read more)

"You need to meet Ed."   7/18/2007 - 3:39 PM
When I was 12, I remember a very distinct feeling overcame me. I remember having the overpowering feeling that I 'needed' to have a baby. Right then. So weird. And more odd, to me, is that I can still recall that moment in time so clearly and I c... (login or sign up to read more)

Greetings!   6/19/2007 - 1:01 PM
I've enjoyed journaling throughout my life and this may prove to be rather fun. I must say right at the start that I'm not as diligent at it as I'd like to be. But, maybe this will be a fresh start. As I'm writing, my two oldest daughters are wo... (login or sign up to read more)
