I've been singing since I was five years old. I started in church like so many others have and continue singing to this day. I've written a few songs, taught a few ladies workshops, coached a few voice students and acted in a few plays/musicals. This year I'm going on a journey of a lifetime. I'm going to China to serve special needs children at the Philip Hayden Foundation.
During my college days, I was a former cheerleader (Northwest Bible College aka Northwest University) and former pageant queen which is partially how I met my husband of 15 years.
We are proud parents to three children.... one stepdaughter and two sons and hope someday to complete our family through adoption from China.
Mostly my life has been one of relative ease and God's blessings though there were moments I didn't believe that I was anything but cursed. God has taken me through the turmoil of losing a parent to cancer, being a victim of abuse, having self-esteem issues, trying to figure out how to parent a stepchild, and really just trying to reprogram my mind to think GOD's thoughts towards me.
I want my life to be an encouragement to others through my music, my thoughts, and simply by being myself. I'm a volunteer like so many others out there in the areas of creative arts, womens ministry and mentoring.

This is such an exciting time for me. I'm heading to China in June on a mission to help special needs orphans who reside at the Philip Hayden Foundation. We will be working there for two weeks, also touring and shopping. My favorite part though ...

1. I like horses and motorcycles just like Kelly but I don't know how to ride either. As a child I very much wanted a horse for the backyard (lol). Someday I would love to ride into the sunset on either horse or motorcycle, while wearing pink lea...
