General Interests
I love being a wife and mother and grandmother! My passion is to inspire, validate, and nurture the hopes and dreams of others and above all to help them realize the fullness-gifts and expressions-of God and His love for them.

I can't get enough of experiencing and understanding different cultures.

Psalm 102:18 is why I write. Psalm 145 is why I speak.

One weird thing about me (among many things!) is that I usually read the last chapter of a book first. I can't stand suspense and I have to know everything turns out okay before I devote hours with the characters!
Music
I found that as a person grows older their music tastes do not necessarily change, but they broaden. You become less of a 'music snob' and have a more open mind.

I was a part of the late 60's--early 70's music scene. I listened to the original of what musicians cover today. My favorites were Led Zepplin, Steppenwolf, Chicago, Elton John, Three Dog Night, Edgar Winter and the White Trash, Moody Blues (Nights in White Satin) Tommy James and the Shondells (Crimson and Clover fame) and, sad but true, the Bee Gees.

But now, I've really grown to appreciate the Blues, Jazz, and, are you ready for this--Big Band Music! Glen Miller, the whole deal! AND Classical, strings being my favorite, in particularily Cannon in D Major. I like to listen to classical when I write. I appreciate the clean sounds of Country, what you hear is what you get, no covering up with distortion. Blue Grass--wonderful.

My children Charles Apple and Olivia Apple are incredible musicians and they have introduced me to a whole new world of music through their work and their friends. Olivia plays lead guitar for Benjamin Del Shreve. Ben's brother Randall Shreve is also extremely talente.

Charles and Olivia have this open-minded mentality and I think that is why they are such talented musicians.
Books
Non-fiction: Books by Calvin Miller, Don Miller, biographies, historical, especially if Velda Brotherton wrote it. C.S.Lewis, a particular favorite in both genre's.
Fiction: for light reading, Jan Karon; I could read Jane Austin's works everyday, Willa Cather - contemporary writers just can't equal her sense of place.
Movies/TV
For me, Chariots of Fire, did that. My favorite line was when Eric was telling his sister why he ran. He said, "When I run, I feel God's pleasure." That's what I want, to know that whatever I do, it pleases God, who gave me life, and ability.

On snowy or rainy days, I can't get enough of any movie that is based on a Jane Austin book! I'm in paradise while watching nearly 6 hours of A&E's Pride and Prejudice.

JESUS IS ALWAYS NEAR BY TO RESCUE YOU WHEN YOU FALL

Hello!!! How are you today? Are you hungry for more success in you walk with Jesus? It is Jesus desire that you be a fully functional and successful bold ambassador in the kingdom of God. Philemon 1:8-9; Ephesians 6:20. Just as successful as He was in becoming your Savior.

Jesus Saves

After feeding more than five thousand people by multiplying five small loaves of bread and two little fish Jesus commanded His disciples to get into a boat and go to the other side of the lake. (Sea of Galilee a freshwater lake). And after He sent this great multitude away, He Himself went up into the mountain to pray. Time past and evening fell as Jesus communed with His beloved Father. And the disciples found themselves in the middle of the lake tossed about by huge waves stirred up by a great opposing wind which battered them about and caused them to fear for their lives.. By the time Jesus had finished His prayer time with the Father it was the wee hours of the morning. (Between 3 AM and 6 AM) Having sent the disciples on ahead He set out walking across the sea to where they were. However, when they observed Him coming toward them walking on the water they were even more terrified than before. Now they had what they supposed was a ghost coming for them! And Jesus would have passed them by except in their fear they cried out. Mark 6: 48 ( Remember Jesus told them to go to the other side. He never told them to stop in the middle of the lake and fear any storm that stood in their way of obeying His command. He was going to meet them on the other side.) When Jesus heard their cries of terror immediately He stopped and talked with them saying," Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid. Peter responded Lord if that is really you COMMAND me come to you on the water. Jesus simple response was COME! Peter climbed down out of that wind and wave tossed boat in a great surge of instance faith, which enabled Him to walk to Jesus. Having taken His eyes off the wind and walking on the water to Jesus and having solved the ghost problem, Peter once again turned his attention to the boisterous winds that still raged about them. And he was once again overcome by fear and doubt, which immediately caused him to start to sink beneath the turbulent water. In his desperation Peter cried out to Jesus to save Him. And as Jesus stretched out His hand to save Peter He also said, O you of little faith, why did you doubt!!!

Notice Jesus COMMANDED His disciple to get into that boat and GO TO THE OTHER SIDE of the lake. Well, Jesus was fully aware of what they would find in the middle of the lake. Remember what Jesus commands of us He enables us to do by faith. No matter how big the storm is that stands between us and our destination. If He commands it of you, you are able to do it. He ask nothing, absolutely nothing of us that we cannot, by the power of His Spirit through obedience, accomplish. We are just as much His disciples as this group of frightened men were. And just as He command them to do, we are also commanded to do what He says fearlessly by faith without one smidgen of doubt. Just before these men set out on their voyage to cross the Sea of Galilee, which was their commanded destination. They had watched Jesus demonstrate to them that He alone was their sufficiency in life, by multiplying the five loaves of bread and the two fish. He alone was their, and now is our, abundantly sufficient bread of life. Whatever our need, it is found in Him. He demonstrated who He was to these disciples and immediately sent them out to face the raging wind and waves that stood between them and their destination. And when they failed to do that He made it clear to them (and us )that it was because of their small doubting faith. It is undoubting faith that we are to apply to every circumstance of life. Jesus is there to caught us when we fall and cry out to Him. Just as He was with Peter. But, oh have much better for us, and how He rejoices when by faith we determine to walk through the storms of life right into all the promises of His grace.

Matthew14: 22-33; Mark 6:45-52; James 1:6-8.

Hi! May your week be filled with peace, love and happiness. May the joy of the Lord fill your heart and the glory of His presence light your way into the realms of His awesomeness.

JESUS IS THE LION OF JUDAH AND THE LAMB OF GOD. In whom our victory in life is guaranteed. And faith is the substance by which it becomes a reality in our world. Faith is the title deed where by we experience Christ's victory of the cross in our own lives. Hebrews 11:1.

Hope you are doing well and experiencing great joy and happiness on your journey of adventure into the depths of God's love, grace and power. You have much to rejoice about. You are a conduit of dynamite power. That alone should entice you to have a bang up week reaching for the heights of the evil defying power, which is available too you, yet unexplored by you. Let your faith explode by stepping out into the realm of the impossible and experiencing that nothing is impossible (no godly thing unattainable) to those who believe. Practice! Practice! Practice! Discover the truth of this for yourself, by applying it to those things that hold you back from being who God's says you are. Look into God's word, as Jesus did (Luke 4:17; Isaiah 61:1,2; Luke 2:52; 3:22; 4:18) find yourself, as He did, and refuse to be less than you were created to be. (Disciples Luke 9:1,2. The Church Acts 1,2,8. Mark 14:14-20.)

Talk to yourself and others in this manner. I am strong in Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10. I can do ALL things. God has lovingly and graciously instilled in me, by the knowledge of Christ, that I can do all things, because it is He who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13. I have no strength in and of myself to do anything. John 15:5 Even Jesus, on this earth in the physical body of a man, could do nothing of Himself. But what He saw the Father doing He boldly did in like manner. John 5:19. Likewise what Jesus does I can do in like manner. And have been commanded to do so. All of God's children can do this. And He encourages us to be bold about doing it. We can do this because we are in Christ, as He is in the Father, and He is in us, as the Father is in Him. And in Him all things have become possible to me, if I believe what He says. Matthew 19:26; Mark 9:23; Mark 10:27. The emphasis here is not on what I can achieve. But on my willingness to believe and allow the power of Christ to sustain me in my difficulties and insufficiencies. And also to enhance my enjoyment of the abundance and prosperity which is mine in Christ. Therefore the emphasis is on what He can achieve. And WILL achieve, if I believe and act on this truth. Faith to believe this is the stimulant that I need to move me to act on what God says. And to receive all Christ's sufficiency in facing all of life's circumstance. And God has already given me that Faith. Romans 12:3. But He has left the choice up to me as to whether or not I use it. To use it is to glorify Him. Not to us it is to insult Him and rebel against Him. Which do you choose?

LOTS OF LOVE AND BIG, BIG HUGS. XOXOXOXO :)

Greetings to you precious saint of the Most High. How are you? I pray that you are have a wonderful day! What a glorious day to be alive and in Christ. Because we know for sure (beyond all doubt) that nothing is impossible to us. When we believe the One Who has the power, authority, desire and willingness to make them possible.

Scripture

We have more than a ray of hope that we can be as Christ was in this earth. We have the blazing flames of God's almightiness resting upon us to insure that we accomplish all that He has commanded of us. Our precious Father will bring us to the banks of the impossible often. Yet as we in faith step out to possess the promises that lie beyond those banks, He will make a way for us to walk safely through the most imposing wall that the enemy can erected to try and stop us from enter into the fullness of our inheritance with joy. For which we have already been qualified to receive. He remembers His holy promises to His people. He rebukes kings, principalities, and powers. Even the whole host of wickedness for the sake of His Anointed ones. (You and I) Our God of peace (wholeness) who brought up our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead. Through the blood of the everlasting covenant will make us complete in every good work to do His will, by working in us what is well pleasing in His sight. If only we will believe unto the doing of His conditions. Rejoice through the darkness by keeping your eye on the Son who is shining upon you in the fullness of His glory.! By faith we move our mountains. See Matthew21:21; Mark 11:23

See Psalm 119:105-106; Psalm 105:14-15; Ephesians 1:19-23; 6:10-20; 1:12-13; Hebrews 13:20-21.

Cyber hugs to you, offspring of the King of kings.

Good morning and a splendid Friday to you! I love the name of you new home! Hope you have a special little hid away where you can steal away and write to your hearts content. May your weekend be filled with joy and delight. Your body with health, and your life with peace (wholeness, everything that pertains to life and godliness) and contentment, as the Lord opens before you all the mystery of His love.

You are the focus of His attention every moment of your life. To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God. Do not allow satan or misguided men to take this truth from your heart. Ever!!!! Let the word of God be so firmly rooted in your heart and thinking that the worries of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, or the pursuit of any other earthly or ungodly enticement, enter in and choke it out rendering it unfruitful in your life. You cannot just hear the word and accept its truth and bear the fruit of it. You must become pregnant with it, as the staple of your life, in order for it to bear much fruit. The more it becomes the necessary commodity of your life the more fruit you will bear by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thirty, sixty, or even a hundred fold. The amount of fruit you bear depends on your belief, application, and expectations. You must not let the seed of God's word be lift unattended and fallow causing it lay barren in your heart and mind. The word of God points us to the potential of our lives. But it is useless to us left unexploited,(unused) and lived out. The same Holy Spirit that raised Christ from the dead gives life to your mortal body and enables you to be and do as Jesus did in this earth. If our goal is less than that we sell ourselves way short of what God has made possible and desires for our lives. You are now the light that He shines into the darkness of others. How brightly we shine and bear the fruit of His love and holiness is left up to us. We can make a small splash and have the Holy Spirit produce a puddle. Or we can wade in over our heads and allow the Spirit to drown us to the world and become free flowing fruit bearing vessels, by which the living water of life changes the lives of others and the world in which we live. You are beautiful in His sight and His vision for you is one of outstanding, supernatural, accomplishment with eternal ramifications.
See Mark 4-23; Acts 1:2;1:8;2:4;4:31;10:45; Romans 14:17;15:13; Romans 8:11.

O COME HOLY SPIRIT O VEN MI SANTO SPIRITO LLENA ME MI CORAZON POR: PEDRO L. CA

Love you! In His Service for His glory!

Surely we, who are empower by the Spirit that created all things, can out shine this cat as we follow Jesus through the trenches of the world, which lead us to fulfill our purpose for being, as heavens ambassadors of life. Imagine satan and his cohorts having to stand silently by as we, in bold obedience to the Father's word, render them speechless and immovable. (For those with no graphic, cat walking through a pack of about 16 dogs who are rendered immovable by its obedience to fear no evil. Psalm 23). Awwwwwwwwwwwwww! What a way to live and move in Him, in Whom we have our being. The impossible is now possible to us who believe. Let us march boldly and fearlessly through the adversities set up by the bluffs of the enemy straight into the victory of Christ. Better to feast on the fruits of life, the riches of glory and victory at the table of the Lord, than to munch on the decaying crumbs of death, destructions and defeat that fall from satan's table. RIGHT???

Loving you as God loves me.

SENDING LOVE AND PRAYERS YOUR WAY!

HOW MIGHTY IS OUR GOD TO DO WHAT HE SAYS?! NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE!

Psalm46

Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all His benefits. Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's

To keep our faith alive and active it is necessary that we look forward focusing on God, His word and His promises. And backward at the blessings we have already experienced, as a source of encouragement and faith building. Rehearse. This is your life! And you are the one who decides to stands in the spot light of God's love and provision or walk outside in the darkness of disillusionment and wavering faith, which receives nothing from God.
See Psalm 103:1-5; James 1:5-8.

Have a beautiful day and a glorious weekend!
