Dr. Linda Beed is an author, educator, speaker and Children's minister. I am a lover of life. One of my biggest joys comes from helping people to realize and walk in purpose.

A teacher at heart, my gift for exhorting seems to always be set on 'high'. That gifting has found its way into the next level of ministry for me - writing. Currently I am enjoying my role as author and speaker. My debut novel, Business Unusual has been described as "Christian fiction in its purest form."

I was asked by a would-be reviewer, "Since you established the protagonist as a Christian, why does the reader need to continue to know this? My response is that by which I live, "As a Christian you should never separate who you are from what you do."

As Kingdom scribes we have an awesome responsibility to the holiness of the gift God has entrusted to us. The path that I am to travel in terms of this ministry is very clear - I am to write and speak the truth of who God is, how much He loves us and what He desires for and from our lives.

Business Unusual is the first in the Covenant Series. In addition to these books I am also working on a few non-fiction projects. When I'm not writing I can be found reading, sewing, gardening or figuring out some type of classroom craft/experiment to keep my elementary students engaged and thirsty for more of Christ. Wherever I am there is music and I seek to incorporate the arts into teaching youth.
