Allen D. Edge, The Edge of Sanity is an ordained minister,a talented actor,director,producer, and stand-up comedian with over thirty seven years in the performing arts. Allen has performed his special brand of humor at Zanies in Chicago, Barrel of Laughs, Jokes & Notes, Comedy Central's "Comic Justice", The Comedy Cafe in Milwaukee, and the Apollo Theatre in New York. Allen has also opened for Aretha Franklin, Pattie La Belle, Smokey Robinson, The O'Jays and The Soul Children of Chicago.
Mr. Edge has also worked with The Goodman Theatre, First Stage Children's Theatre,Steppenwolf Theatre,Victory Gardens Theatre, Portland Stage Company,and The Black Ensemble Theatre. Allen was also featured in Barber Shop 2 and Tyler Perry's "Meet The Browns".
Allen has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Theatre from Columbia College Chicago. He is also the founder and president of Transitions Edge Productions, Inc., a production company dedicated to the effective communication of Christ Jesus through the performing arts. Mr. Edge is the board chairman of Christian Artists Network. C.A.N. is also the Illinois Chapter of Hollywood Prayer Network. Mr.Edge is a husband, dad, and carries the coveted title of Grandpa. Actually, your perception is right on. I see a psychiatrist regularly. Her name is Dr. Janes and she makes me make appointments just so we can to and laugh. She is adorable. She has diagnosed me with a radical type A personality with nit wit tendencies.

So this got my hyper little mind to thinking about this on a spiritual level.
How many times do we judge each other on a first glance, fashion,
hearing only part of a conversation, culture, color, creed, religion,
family reputation, education level, beauty,
friends, seeing only half of the picture, music we listen to,
fashion, listening to half of the story, which side of the tracks we live on,
or GOD FORBID, by gossip!!!
GAUGING OTHERS BY THE ABOVE ARE MAJOR JOY BUSTERS!!!
EXAMPLE
Think about your perception of me, Jazzy Jax a.k.a. your faithful Spaminator,
no doubt you're perception of me may be one of mind-boggling talent,
beauty, youth, ultimate wisdom, superior wit?
stop it, you're embarrassing me here!!
Alas, if that is your perception, please know that I HAVE FOOLED YOU!!!

I love having you as my Big Brother just looking out for me. Those are some great ideas. I may have more interaction with more youth through Sunday school and can use that idea. I basically writing novels. I do have a new christian base publisher that I will be working with. I have begun re-editing the manuscript preparing it to be sent out for the next stage. There are already folks that have prepaid for the project just waiting for their merchandise. My book is kind of large so printing in that manner will be a bit much. It is always good to hearing from you my friend and brother. There are many things that I need, trying to get my book into fruiton. I don't know what you have the ability to do. I know that the gift inside of me is God given. And I will continue to believe what God has ordaine He will maintain. I am honored that you haven't forgotten about me.
