David Lawson, retired and living in Brisbane, Australia, has been a pastor, evangelist, church administrator. He has worked in sixteen countries in the South Pacific, Northern Europe and West Africa. He has written five christian books.
Prior to his retirement, he held large public evangelistic campaigns in Sydney and country centres in Australia; Christchurch, New Zealand; Coventry, Watford and Wokingham in England; Helsinki and Turku in Finland; Stockholm and Malmo in Sweden; Oslo and Trondheim in Norway; Arhus in Denmark; Reykjavik in Iceland; The Hague in the Netherlands; Bielsko-Biawa, Krakow, and Warsaw in Poland, Kumasi in Ghana; Enugu in Nigeria; Arawa (Bougainville), Mt Hagen and Goroka in Papua New Guinea.
Having travelled to almost 80 countries, this keen photographyer has taken more than 130,000 photographs. Many of these have been used in multi-image presentations, post cards, calendars, brochures, magazines and books. He had the honour of being selected as a "Royal" photographer for the 25th Anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's reign, the Garter Ceremony at Windsor Castle, and the Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana.
For the past 10 years he has been president of the South Queensland Retired Adventist Church Employees Association, and is currently Chairman of the Board of "Volunteers In Action", a charitable Association that supports hundreds of volunteer Church Workers in the South Pacific Islands.
