About Lauralee Bliss - Adventurer at Heart
|
Hi! I am a friend of adventure, and so far my Christian walk has been nothing but! First off, I love the adventure of writing a good Christian Romance.
To date I have published over a dozen books. I enjoy writing books that are reminiscent of a roller coaster ride for the reader. My desire is that readers will come away with both an entertaining story and a lesson that ministers to the heart.
Check out tips on writing and a writer's life at my blog.
I write on it every Monday with recent topics such as my adventure into learning God's will for my life (along with His unique steering currents), writing a fiction proosal, and the art of accepting rejection God's way.
Feel free to find me on Facebook, too!
My other life adventure is this - I completed a hike of the entire Appalachian Trail in 2007. Wow, what a life changing experience! Feel free to read my hiking blog and my trail journal on how I readied myself for this trip of a lifetime. I have also created a Shoutlife group to talk about this great trail - Appalachian Trail Adventurers. I hope to sell a book soon about the journey with my son.
As for me, I live in the beautiful state of Virginia with my husband of 18 years, Steve, and our 18-year-old son, Joshua. We lost our dear beagle, Lady, in December of '08. Besides writing and hiking, I also love seeing historic sites, checking out a yard sale, and tending my flower and vegetable gardens.
God be with you as you travel the journey of adventure with Him.

Hi Lauralee: just a quick note to let you know how much I am enjoying your book, Virginia Weddings. I am glue to it. I just finished reading, Ageless Love. That was such a cute and entertaining story. Once I am done with it, I will write an oficial review. It is worth it. More people should read it. It is simply great.
Remember your friends, family and readers of your interview at Time with Tannia. It will be published until June 29. On June 30, I will be updating the website. They still have time to come read your interview, leave you a comment, read your book blurbs, and roam around.
It has been a pleasure to interview you.
Take care and God bless!
Blessings from Germany,
TANNIA

Popping in to wish you a happy day filled with all that makes your face smile and your heart sing for joy!
BECAUSE YOU SAY SO!!!!
THE GRASS WITHERS AND FLOWER FALLS BUT THE WORD OF GOD STANDS FOREVER!!! TRUST HIM!!!
Jesus was down by the lake of Gennesaret one day ministering the word of God to the multitudes when they, eager to hear His words, became so great that they were pressing in against Him. Therefore, looking for a better why to speak to the people, Jesus saw two boats and the fishermen from those boats near by cleaning their nets. So He got into the boat belonging to Simon Peter and asks him to push off a little ways from shore so He could sit down and teach the people more effectively.
When Jesus finished speaking to the people, He spoke directly to Peter! He said to Him go out into the deeper water and let down your nets for a catch. Jesus a carpenter instructs this experienced fishermen, who had been fishing all night with out so much as a fish being caught in the nets. Peter considered himself to be quite knowledgeable about how to catch fish. And he wanted Jesus to understand that this was his field of expertise and that His advice made no sense to a skillful practicing fisherman who had fished in this very lake exhaustively all night with absolutely no success. However, in spite of what he knew to be true about fishing, he said, "BECAUSE YOU SAY SO, I will let down the nets again!" Because Peter was willing to forego his experience and knowledge of fishing and responded actively to Jesus instructions he experienced miraculous supernatural results. Results exceedingly abundantly more than he could even think to ask for. From this one act of obedience to God's word Peter had to call for help, and even with the help of another boat and crew they were still beginning to sink under the abundance of God's blessing. God is God of more than enough!
When we let down our own nets of faith into the flowing river of God's Spirit filled words, heaven moves into action and supernatural things happen on earth. We are favored and have unique responsibilities, in Christ, concerning the function of God's kingdom working on earth as it does in heaven. But how successfully we fulfill our calling in Christ depends on our willingness to do what He says despite what we think we know in the natural. See Luke 5;1-9. Jesus says, "But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do (practice, implement, put to use) the things which I say? See Luke 6:46. Here in lies the abundant life. May you always find a rainbow at the end of all your rainy days!
Sending big hugs and smiles your way!!!

1 John 4:7-12
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him].
He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love.
In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him.
In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.
Beloved, if God loved us so [very much], we also ought to love one another.
No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion (to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us!

Have a blessed weekend.God bless.
Matthew 18:18-20
Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is already permitted in heaven.
Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.
For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them. [Exod. 3:14.]

I AM MY BELOVEDS AND HE IS MINE! Son. 6:3 Is this the reality that fills your life?
When ones heart welcomes Him to make His home there the light of His love shines upon them making them beautiful from the inside out!!
This may seem to be a hard word but it is the only way to walk in the presence and bounty of God's grace. Be not deceived by allowing the enemy to rob you of this truth! This is the pathway that allowed Jesus to successfully accomplish His divine mission of redemption for the lost! And it is the same trail that the redeemed must travel in order to live in the fullness of that which He purchased for us. To check the status of your relationship with the Master there is one question that must be ask! Are you eagerly putting God first?! Where does this rate among your list of must dos? See Matthew 22: 37-40. Are you fearing what the world fears or are your putting Him first and allowing Him to be the sanctuary of your life. Is He the one you fear or is it the world and your desire to make your mark in it? See Isaiah 8:12-14. Have you, by faith, worked your way through presumption and pride in order to always joyfully give Him first place in your life? Is it your mind, or the truth of God's word that you have hidden in your heart, that you trust to insure that your life's journey is that which the Lord has promised and desires for you? Do you truly seek the welfare and advancement of Him and His kingdom first before your other desires? There is a price to pay to be able to walk on holy ground and nestle safely under the shadow of the wings of the Almighty. Giving God only the crumbs of your life will not keep the bounty of His heavenly riches flowing in abundance toward you. His presence, power and provisions abide where He and His kingdom are made ones top priority in all things. See Matthew 6:33 and 34.
May your day overflow with the wisdom and insight, which will open those doors before you that can only be opened by our heavenly Father! And which cannot be shut by any another power! May your day resonate with beauty and your heart leap for joy as it beats as one with the Master's. Copyright © Sylvia F. Liani 2009

MAN YOUR SWORD AND DEMOLISH THE POWER OF THE ENEMY!!!
Pick up the Sword of the Spirit and begin to slash your way to victory, proclaiming the Word of God regarding the adverse circumstances in your life. Put God first and shatter the enemy's vision of destroying you! YOU take the authority over those negative thoughts AND REPLACE THEM with the Word! Take them captive! Your life consists of a series of decision! Right choices will cause you to soar with Jesus! Wrong choices will keep you captive to the fakery of the usurper who swindled Adam and Eve out of their rulership over everything in life under God! Don't let the cares of life or satan wear you down! Sweat blood if you have to, but stick with the word of God! Slash and wrestle your way through the maze of deception and out right lies that the world, the adversary and his cohorts raise up against you, to the glorious victory of the cross in all of its fullness! It's your heritage. You are a child of God! For goodness sake!!! Who are what should you fear?!! Rejoice! You have the power, strength and authority of Almighty God on your side. When the wrestling ends you will still be standing and the word of God will be clearly visible. And you will have grown and become an even more effective wrestler! A wrestler who causes hell to shudder and heaven to applaud! Assert your authority, wrestle down the enemy! Keep Him out of your garden of the paradisiacal provision that fills the pages of God's word (His instruction book) for the redeemed. Now look up (even if you think your life is perfect) your best days are yet to come!!!!
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD.
Hey it's a beautiful day roll your cares over on the Master and enjoy the abundant provisions of His grace on a daily basis. Even when the day seems dark and without hope the Son will always shine the brightness of His glory into your heart and circumstance and lift you higher than ADVERSITY can even reach.
Praying for you a breathtakingly beautiful day and an awesome weekend!!!

You are so welcome my friend! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and bless me with you visit! I pray that you are having an extraordinarily HAPPY DAY!! BIG SMILE!!
IF THE SHOE FITS who you are wear it with boldness for the glory of the one who made it fit! Ephesians 6:15.
How beautiful are your feet, O Bride of Christ, as you bring the good news that will set those who are still held captive by satan to freedom. Your actions are like bright shinning jewels clustered together carrying out the works the Father has prepared for you to accomplish in the name of His Son. The works of your hands are directed and applied by the skillfulness of God's own hand and accompanied by the fragrance of Jesus, the rose of Sharon. God has brought you into His very own banqueting house that you may feast on His excellence as His banner of love waves encouragingly over you! God has raised you to a place of influence, power and authority in Christ, a place of rulership for the saving of nations. By His exhibition of Himself through you! And He wants you to know that His blessings are always greater than satan's ability to deceive and defraud you. Therefore, believe unwaveringly in the sufficiency of His word. God has given you every gift that is needed to fulfill the purpose for which He created you. For that reason let us break forth in joy and sing together as we carry the Gospel of His kingdom, of peace (wholeness of life) and mercy to the ends of the earth. See: Luke 4:18-19; Isaiah 52:7; Song of Solomon 1:2, 4; Romans 10:15. Remember as Jesus is so are you IN THIS WORLD. Consequently, we can have boldness now in this life and on the Day of Judgment. We can face the enemy tenaciously and victoriously every place we encounter him. By holding on to all the inheritance that is ours in Christ we can stand on the certainty of the Word and watch him flee from our resistance of Him. OUR GOD RIEGNS!!!! See 1 John 4:17; James 4:7. O Happy day when Jesus washed our sins away! Copyright © Sylvia F. Liani 2009
Multiple blessing and an abundance of open doors through which you may enter into the fullness of who you have become in Christ!

You are destined to win. Never let go of that promise. Cling to it, fight for it, and keep your heart and head always firmly affixed to it. See Genesis 32:22-32.
We are told by the prophet, Hosea 12:4, how Jacob wrestled for the promise of God to be fulfilled in His life. He wept and made supplication; prayers and tears were his weapons. It was not only physically and intellectually, but spiritually that he wrestled. It was by vigorous faith and holy desire that he won. He was left with a dislocated hip to remind him of his weakness, but he had an enlarged heart of faith to remind him that God was his strength and a keeper of His word.
You are strong in the Lord and the power of His might. You are strong and you are able to stand against the evil that is coming against you. Against your body! Against you peace and wholeness of life! Against the use of your tongue to speak God's truth! Against the will of the Father in all areas of your life! God will put strength in you. And you shall stand with Him against your enemies. Against all that stands between you and your full inheritance in Christ, both here in this world and in the one to come. Against all that the curse encompasses, including sickness and disease. Against everything that is necessary for life and godliness, even here and now and eternal life in the world to come. You can do all things because in you dwells the fullness of your God. You are strong because God says you are strong in Him and He commands you to say it even in your physical frailty and weakness!!! God's command is, "Let the weak say I am strong". It is not what you see, feel and hear from your flesh, the world, and devil, but what God has promised you in His infallible word that allows you to walk in His power. Lay down your worldly weapons, take up the sword of the Spirit (See Joel 3:10); put on the whole armor of God and with prayer and supplication let the weak say, I am strong. Joel 3:10. The battle is the Lords but the wrestling is yours. 2 Chronicles 20:15; 1 Samuel 17:47. In this world we will have trouble and plenty of it. But in Christ you have overcome the world. Take up your cross and march right into the very depths of God's heart where the abundance of life Christ promises you awaits. WE ARE THE OVERCOMING COQURERING BODY OF CHRIST!!!! LET US MARCH BRAVELY INTO THE BATTLE FOR THE WAR HAS ALREADY BEEN WON.
May the mercy and grace of our Lord be your comfort always!
And may the fullness of God's splendor descent upon you daily!
