LaTara Ham-Ying is a Woman on a mission to encourage proactive change in the lives of families with an emphasis on women and teen-aged girls. She serves others as a vegan cooking and natural living coach, writer, blogger, entrepreneur, and speaker. LaTara's journey has taught her how to come out of the pit that quenches your purpose and live a more abundantly authentic life in Christ.

She also serves others as a freelance writer, teacher, and Bible Study leader.
Her first book, "The Woman He Wants You to Be" a workbook for women was released in December of 2005. Her work can also be found in "Skydiving for Parents" - an encouragement book.

LaTara resides in Chicago with her "honey", Rupert, and their two precious boys Alexander and Brehane. She simply bursts with God's Love and Christ's peace. As LaTara shares her testimony, she brings you into her life effortlessly and opens your eyes widely, and then you see the heart of GOD. Her charm is intoxicating, and her zeal for life is contagious.

Mrs. Ham-Ying's approach is raw, transparent, and liberating; bringing women to a new understand of who they are in Christ. She believes that every woman needs to come to an understanding of God's design for her life. Her goal is to show women how to live life on purpose with Purpose. She is the encourager, edifier, and equipper needed for such a time as this.
