My name is Larry Hill. I am a member of Gateway Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC.- Pastor Ray Stewart. I got saved in June 1985. Before I got saved, I sang country music from the age of 12. Drinking and music was the only life I had. Then in 1983, God rearranged my circumstances with cancer. My mother asked me if I would serve the Lord if he healed me. Being lost, my response was that all I could do was thank him. With that, my mother and her church began praying. After the last of three surgeries ,while running test, the doctor found that the cancer was gone. My mother and her church knew exactly what had happened. But, being lost ,with no faith, I did not believe that I was healed. I ran for two years. Not knowing exactly what was happening, everywhere I turned, gospel tracts, people witnessing. I mean people that I never knew or had seen before, even people in night clubs.
Thank the Lord, finally realizing June 9,1985, that I was under conviction, lost and needing a savior the Lord saved me. The last two and a half years I have been making a gospel CD. Now that it is finished, I am trying to do what I believe the Lord wants me to do. The name of the CD is He Came To Me. I hope this is a blessing to all that hear.
Hey! Thank you so much! I love "Please Forgive Me"...that song has helped me get through some tough times!! You do a really really great version of it! You have a nice rustic tone to your voice, really great!
Thanks for stopping by and for the friend request.
Keep on doing what you do for Jesus and always remember that everyone can reach someone for Jesus and you are never too old or young to do something for God.
Thank you for the friend request. It is so totally awesome to find a site where the love of my Lord and Savior is a common denominator. Hope to hear from you again soon.

I don't know how familiar you are with the Messianic movement, but it has become an amazing thing to behold, as Jews from all over the world have come to a saving relationship with Yeshua Hamashiah (Jesus, the Messiah). We can learn so much about our own faith by observing the Jewish perspective. We can also enjoy the rich tradition of Jewish art and music. With that in mind, I would like to invite you to check out an amazing new artist on my site.
Hillel Tokazier is a Jewish singer and songwriter from Finland, who draws on his roots in the synagogue, and then adds elements of jazz, blues, rock, and even gospel. The result is what I consider a totally delightful musical and spiritual experience. All of his songs are in Hebrew, yet I have enjoyed listening to them over and over. Come on by and check out "Shabat medley" that I have put on my page, then you can go to www.newfaithfavorites.com and listen to all of his songs.
I also, have an American singer, Elisabeth Genco, who has a song called "Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem" that honors Israel.
