The KCWC Mission: Founded in 1997, the Kentucky Christian Writers Conference is an annual interdenominational event that equips and encourages writers in their quest for publication. The conference will provide a safe environment where writers can discover their gifts and share their work.
To fulfill this mission, the conference committee works together to bring together an annual event for writers at every level of expertise. The event usually takes place around the third weekend of June each year, and always includes two days of instruction, fellowship, and encouragement.
This year, 2009, the conference will be held on the Friday and Saturday immediately preceding Father's Day. Our keynote is publisher (and former agent) W. Terry Whalin, a highly sought-after presenter from Arizona. Find out more information about him at either of his two websites:
http://www.terrywhalin.com or
http://www.right-writing.com.
For up-to-date conference and after-conference information, please bookmark our main website at
http://www.kychristianwriters.com. In addition, you can sign up for our blog, or register for feed updates from our blog, at
http://kychristianwriters.blogspot.com. These locations will give you all the information on the other presenters for the 2009 conference. The list this year is amazing, and the workshops should have something to offer for everyone.
NOTE: This site was without a webmaster for over a year, so please excuse this last-minute update. The conference is this upcoming weekend, June 19th & 20th, so if you would like to attend, please call our registrar (number on the main site) as soon as possible. I will try to stay on top of mail sent here, so you can drop a line this way as well, but I still urge interested writers to call.
May you be blessed in every moment you live--and write--for Christ.
