As all my old/new books are out again...I must say here that ALL my stories are basically good vs. evil and, in the end, good wins. I was raised a Catholic, I am a Christian, and my stories and the people in them reflect that always. Just so you know. My stuff is almost all PG. My apocalyptic, before the Rapture and after, novel BEFORE THE END: A Time of Demons is out from Damnation Books as e-book and paperback. It's classified as horror (because there are demons and angels in it)but it's like the LEFT BEHIND SERIES, which I loved. No cursing (well, maybe one or two damns, that's about all) or sex but an old-fashioned story about these two siblings, Cassandra and Johnny, Christians, who sing out in nightspots for a living and the woman learns (because she starts seeing demons behind people's faces and gains other powers)that she is a soldier for God and must soon fight demons (evil) as the Rapture approaches. The book follows her, what's left of her large family, and her friends when they have to go on the road to find other soldiers like her to help those left behind come to the Lord. I've worked many years on this novel, my 13th published, and hope all my friends here will read it. I'm proud of it. There could be more of them, too, if this one does well.

I was once a graphic designer (22 years) in the corporate world but now write full time.
I began reading Science Fiction (Ray Bradbury and Robert Heinlein), historical romance, mystery (Sherlock Holmes) and traditional horror very young and, a storyteller, I always had stories going around in my head - when I wasn't drawing pictures. I watched Twilight Zone and Spook Spectacular; loved the Waltons (I had a big poor family as well) and after my first child was born, bored silly, I began to write.
My first novel, EVIL STALKS THE NIGHT, 1984, was an old-fashioned something evil's in the woods ghost story and I've been writing about vampires, ghosts, supernatural beings and murder mysteries (most with a touch of romance) ever since. I always had to write, I had no choice. It's me, a way of life, second-nature and my greatest passion.
Book number ten, EGYPTIAN HEART (an ancient Egyptian time travel romance) is out electronically now and in paperback on May 30, 2008 from The Wild Rose Press; book number eleven, WINTER'S JOURNEY (a romantic suspense novel) is also out now, paperback October 3, 2008; and my twelfth book THE ICE BRIDGE (a contemporary romance with a touch of murder mystery) will be out in mid 2008. I loved the Left Behind series and read every one! I've been writing an end-of-days novel myself the last few years and hope to have it done this year.
