Sixteen year old, Contemporary Christian Pop Rock Metro DC singer/songwriter/musician Joy Lippard, www.joylippard.com seeks to be a positive role model for teens today. "She has a unique ability to address the issues young people struggle with. She does it from a Biblical perspective, but it doesn't sound preachy," says producer, Paul Barber. Lippard's accolades include: national winner for the 2006 GMA Music in the Rockies pop/rock songwriting competition for Beautiful Outside and In; overall second place winner for the 2006 Songwriter's Association of Washington competition for I'm Waiting; 2007 International Songwriting Contest finalist out of almost 15,000 entrants for Beautiful Outside and In; top 5 finalists in the December 2006 Song of the Year songwriting contest for I'm Waiting; appeared on the 2005 Nationally Syndicated program, "America's Most Talented Kids" and in 2005 Joy released her CD debut Outside And In.
