Joy Lester is a native of Grand Rapids Michigan. She is one of thirteen children, four brothers and eight sisters. She is a wife and mother of four beautiful children and two grandchildren.
Joy was exposed to the singing ministry at an early age,performing in high school talent shows and musicals. She has sung background vocals for pastor and well-known gospel artist, Marvin Sapp.
Joy is an incredible worship leader, song writer, as well as a gifted and anointed psalmist. Her rich and powerful alto voice is anointed to penetrate the spiritual darkness and bring deliverance from oppositions and bondages from the evil one. Joy's desire is to use her voice as a mighty weapon to pull down strongholds according to II Corinthians 10:4 "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds."
Joy ministers in conferences, conventions, weddings, and other special occasions. She is available to minister at your special function.

Lord, You have crowned Joy with glory and honor. You have placed a capacity for dignity and excellence over her mind. You designate power and authority to crown ther life. O God, according Your Word she is not helpless nor is she a victim.
Today she chooses to walk in Your power and authority, speaking words of life, words of blessing over herself and all that concerns them. Today I confidently speak Your purpose and plan into the atmosphere around her, assured of Your power going forth, released through my words.
Today they walk in that atmosphere and walk by her spiritual senses that are attuned to You. They walk in the dignity and purpose to which she is called.
Lord, you have crowned her with authority over the full strength of her enemy. (Luke 10:19) We now exercise that authority and bind up the thief who attempts to steal away Your plans for ther life. Praise God! By Your power and authority they are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. Alleluia!
