Joyce started in comedy clubs after high school friends urged her to do her impressions on stage at Open Mike Night at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle in Detroit. With over 150 voices, Joyce wanted to be the next "Robin Williams." Her voices got her gigs on the radio with Detroit's #1 Radio Morning Drive Personality, Dick Purtan and his Comedy Team, for the next several years. Through the radio, Joyce entertained Detroit fans with being an "African- American Lady Di, Madonna, Diana Ross, Amy Grant and Barbara Streisand." She's featured on the Best of Purtan Cd's I and II.

While in the comedy clubs, Joyce was voted one of the top ten comedians in the Best of Detroit Comedy Contest. She's shared the stage with some of the most popular comedians today, including TV's Tim Alen (Home Improvement) and Dave Coulier (Full House).

After three years comedy clubs, however, Joyce felt lead to head a different route - to perform in churches. From women's ministry at Saddleback Church in California to Northridge Christmas dinner in Michigan to Ken Davis & Friends comedy night First Baptist of Orlando in Florida, Joyce has entertained church audiences for 20 years.

Being married for 20 years, Joyce will share how different men & women really are. Not just married to anyone, but "Life with an Engineer" is one Joyce most popular acts. With four kids ranging from preschool to teens, Joyce has great material on parenthood. As a homeschool mom, Joyce's perspective leaves audiences laughing. Also, being raised in an Arabic household, she brings to life the Ameircan & Arabic differences that have audiences in stitches. Advice from Joyce's mother makes audiences laugh till they cry! Joyce could write her version of "My Big Fat Arabic Wedding."

Currently, Joyce headlined for "Hope for Their Future" and raised $10,000 in one evening for the fundraising event for abused foster kids.

Statement of Faith:

Accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior since 12, Joyce has been able to give her testimonial to audiences as well. She's also taught lessons from the Word that were relevant to her life experiences. Joyce has personally lead over 100 people to Christ and through her testimonial ministry, she has lead many to believe in her savior and many more to re-dedicate their lives to Christ.

Just for the record, I do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross and rose again! I have studied with Bible Study Fellowship for ten years and never once missed reading my notes or doing my lessons. One of my favorite scripture verse is "I am sending you, to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, in order that they may received forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me." Acts 26:17b, 18
