In process....will be uploaded as soon as it's at least a rough mix!
"Joni wants her music to touch people's hearts with the love of Christ. To encourage them, and give them hope even in difficult times. Also, she wants to let those that don't already know, that we are ALL in a battle, whether we choose to be or not, called spiritual warfare. She wants to tell them about the Good News of Jesus Christ, how He died, and rose again, not only to save our souls for eternity, but to give us victory in this life, right here on earth!"
Joni is a Christian rock, singer/songwriter. "She was singing right after she started to talk", according to family members. Just a few years ago, she began to feel a call into ministry; specifically singing. Since that time, she has been a member of the choir at her home church, Huntsville First Church of the Nazarene and was a member of Joni and Diane, an award-winning duet ministry, for about four years. As a soloist, Joni has worked with vocal coaches Roger Beales, of the Voice House in Atlanta, GA, and Dr. Scott Martin of Academy of the Arts in Colorado, and Artist Development/Management; McLaughlin Music Group Int'l/Jeff McLaughlin. She has done concerts, special music, block parties, and other singing events as well as the National Anthem at several sporting events including the Huntsville Stars and a National Flat Track event in FL for Daytona Bike Week. Now it's time to be a part of a live band and work together as a team with Christ, to touch people's hearts and get the message of Jesus Christ, His forgiveness, grace, mercy, and healing, out to those who don't already know!
Many of Joni's songs deal with situations and emotions that Joni has dealt with, as many of us have; severe depression (brought on by both chemical imbalance and also because of grief), divorce, being a single/working parent, loneliness, overwhelming emotions, self-injury, fighting suicidal thoughts, and also the pain brought on by the deaths of loved ones. In 2004, Joni's ex-husband, her oldest son's father, died of Leukemia. Two months later, her brother-in-law died in a car accident, and in 2005, her father passed away due to complications brought on by Alzheimer's. Addressing these things, Joni says, "I have been through a lot, just like pretty much everybody has. Nobody, not even God, said life would be easy. But He did say He would never leave or forsake us. God is bigger than anything we could ever face and I know he has always given me the love, strength, comfort, grace, and if needed; forgiveness, to get through every situation." Joni's other songs are about just that, God's love, mercy, forgiveness and healing. They are songs of praise and thankfulness. Her songs deal with emotions from one end of the spectrum to the other which is how Christ loves us; "from our worst times to our best and every breath in between, He is always there, holding us!", she says.Joni's songs also deal with the world's ever-increasing push, actually shove, towards total immorality and, feeling isolated and alone; one of Satan's tactics from the beginning, which brings about the things mentioned above. "But through it all, there's that amazing bright light in every situation...the saving Grace, and Love of Jesus. He knows each one of us, and everything we are facing, and He holds us, and He will bring us through it; His tactic from the beginning~ to take care of us here, and save our souls from spending eternity in hell, if we trust Him, and let Him", Joni says."We think, it's all about us and it's all about now, but that is the lie that Satan feeds us.The truth is....it's all about Jesus Christ and it's all about eternity! All of this; our perceived "reality", will pass way in the blink of an eye and then....where are you, forever.....?"

Hey my friend
I am back and refreshed, looking forward to being friends once more.
My new ministry is to ask you to pray and intercede for the children, animals and all of life that is being wronged in the name of God. I know my purpose, I know God is good all the time. I have learned to never ever let go of a promise He has given to me, but to hold onto it tightly until it comes to pass. His promises are true, and He never changes or fails us. So keep raising up your Holy hands and keep asking for His will be done in all things.
Love ya and it's good to have a purpose. *hugs*

I'm going to be in Canada and Michigan for most of August, but I hope you have a great time at Praisefest!
