I am a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and worship leader, and I have a website called "New Faith Favorites", which presents, in downloadable mp3 format, great songs of praise and worship from all over the world.
I would like to introduce you to two outstanding songwriters that I met right here on Shoutlife.com. They couldn't be more different in their background, but they both have a couple of things in common. First of all, they have a total commitment to the Lord. Greg and Linda Smith have over thirty years of experience in the music and recording industry writing, producing, recording and performing music that has touched the lives of thousands. Their willingness to be transparent about their struggles and triumphs in the songs they write allows them to minister to all who will really listen.
For them, worship is a way of life; a daily giving of themselves to God. They mix personal experience along with a strong biblical foundation to present the message of Jesus in song.
Philip Stanley Klein was born to an Orthodox Jewish family in Brooklyn, New York. His grandfather was the president and Rabbi of Beth Emmanuel, an Orthodox Synagogue in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. After his formal musical schooling and a concert at Carnegie Hall, Philip toured as the keyboard player with a national musical recording group and wound up in Nashville, Tennessee. He wrote for Frank Sinatra's music company, performed with gold record celebrities and finally settled in Atlanta, Georgia.
Philip is now praising the Lord with the talent that He gave to him. His personal testimony is moving and powerful. His lyrics and melodies will stir you deeply, bring tears to your eyes and healing to your spirit.
