"America's Home Spun Gospel" is a show that was designed to try to bridge the gap.
AHSG originated at a local Atlanta-area gospel station as "Homespun Gospel" in the early 90's, hosted by Danny Howell. Danny still hosts the show today, but with some big differences...
1.) Randy Abel joins Danny as Executive Producer, bringing several years of quality program editing and production to the table. With today's modern editing capabilities, you can rest assured that "America's Home Spun Gospel" is NOT a show that's just thrown together on a reel-to-reel tape! Several hours go into the post-production of every one-hour show.
2.) Thanks to Danny and Randy's hard work, "America's Home Spun Gospel" is now syndicated (currently) on 18 radio stations, including Macon, GA; Winder, GA; Cedartown, GA; Heflin, AL; Rutherfordton, NC; Augusta, ME; Oceana, WV; Gilbert, WV; Baguio City, The Phillippines; WVSGRadio.com; HeavenlyTracks.org; and NOW we're covering over 150,000 square miles down under as we've been picked up by The Power Country network, with five stations in Australia! We are always looking for more affiliates to help us spread the gospel of Jesus Christ via Southern Gospel music!
