Meet the Hauntings Radio Broadcast and Moderation team. These are our stories, beliefs, and motivations.

Rod Shelton began experiencing paranormal events as a child. His personal theories are platformed upon the premise that human beings are a large part of paranormal events; either in use by entity or energy, or though and by one's self. Growing up in a time when very little effort was made beyond a religious perspective, he soon discovered most paranormal activity was assumed to be 'evil' or negative. His motivation to pursue this field is education beyond those limitations.

Ian Hickin is the founder, creator and leader of the Florida Paranormal Research team. After his retirement from the Bayshore Fire Rescue District in 2001, Ian began by starting Hurricane Chase Extreme, a hurricane chase team. Following several personal experiences and witnessing many deaths over the years, he wanted to explore ghosts and the afterlife. His motives are to seek and create knowledge beyond the field's equipment, current perspectives, and limitations Ian believes we can always do more to find more, and views his investigations as a quest for the truth.

Robert Roll is the co-host for the Hauntings Radio & Video Show. Robert's family sought our Rod Shelton after they began experiencing paranormal activity which seemed to be focused around their eldest son, Robert. After multiple interviews, education and personal experiences, Robert became interested in the paranormal field. He has learned to overcome the fear of the unknown, and to pursue it's mysteries. His motivation is knowledge and understanding.

Mary "Kathy" Bigelow was born in Baltimore, MD. At the age of 14 Kathy went into the convent, located in Melbourne, KY. After spending 4 years in the convent, she left to tend to her ill mother. Kathy found a job in a local doctor's office and worked as a secretary to help support the kids during her mother's hard times. In 1973, Kathy got married to Patrick, a friend's brother who she had met in the convent. At this time, she was working as a switchboard operator at the State Mental Institution. Patrick walked out on Kathy and his two daughters in 1980. Kathy then had to work from home so she could support and watch over her daughters. She sold food and made gingerbread houses so she could afford Christmas presents. Patrick did not pay child support until the divorce was final in 1987. After that, there were several moves throughout the state of Maryland until she finally settled on the outskirts of Chicago. Kathy married her current husband, Jack, in 2001 and moved to Florida. Since then she has become heavily involved with Hauntings Radio. Kathy hopes to be more involved with the investigations in the future, but for now she continues to do her best as the head moderator for Hauntings Radio Early Bird Special, Hauntings Radio, Echoes of the Afterlife, Saturday Night Paranormal, and where ever else she is needed.

James Grill is the newest and youngest member of the Hauntings Radio Broadcast team. James works as the PR agent promoting Hauntings Radio and it's affiliates, booking guests to be on the show, running the majority of our websites, and updating fans when necessary. Although he has never had a personal experience, James continues to be a skeptic and not an attacker. He hopes that one day he will be able to join the Florida Paranormal Research team and go on investigations with them. Until then, he is content with doing the behind-the-scenes work for his online family.
