YOUR THOUGHTS..
Jesus was led up by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil. And when he had fasted 40 days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Mathew 4:1-2.
Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by Satan. This would have been one of the hardest things that God would have allowed of His Son, next to the Crucifixion.
The Holy Spirit needed Jesus to face that situation for us, knowing that He had gone through every feelings and emotions that Satan tempts us with.
Jesus could have given in, but He knew the consequences of giving in and His purpose for coming the world would have been lost forever.
What are your feelings and thoughts on this?
Lord, thankyou that you did not give in to Satan on the mountain. You are Holy and Good.

It can take great courage sometimes to keep trusting God when our world is falling apart, when we fear everything. We can't be trusting and insecure at the same time, though; and a real crisis, in our real lives, insecurity often wins. We look for instant tangible answers, forgotting that all answers are within.
How full we are of those answers depends on how well we know God. Sometimes all we know is the messy life we're living. Then it's easy to lose our faith in God's faithfulness to us.
How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Psalm 13:1-2 NIV
The sorrow that David speaks of is pushy, It's the same sorrow we feel today, and it's strong nd oppressive. Giving in to it may seen easier that overriding it. Let it win, we say. Who cares anyway? We easily allow ourselves to dramatize every doubt we feel when we should be seeking to understand and dismantle then all instead.
The Lord is waiting for us to do that, but we tarry and hesitate, as if committing to that task is too hard for us and God. Meanwhile, the Lord's drumming His fingers....The journey is here, with Me.....I'm here.

Sunset with the Lord
Sitting overlooking the sea one evening.I was watching the sun Beginning to set.As I watched I wanted it to set faster so that I could go home and then the Lord said to me that as it takes the time for the sun to set,so it takes time for our flesh life to disapear.If you continue to look at the sun then,it seems as though it isn't moving.Yet if you look away for a few minutes and then look back you notice the difference: and so it is with us.If we look at our lives we don't think we have changed very much,but if we look back we can see just how far we've come.
As I continued watching, I was aware of the sun's reflection in the sea,and the Lord said that at the start of our christian walk all people see is us.Now as the sun sets the reflection begins to disappear and the sky around the sun begins to light up.Then the Lord said that as we begin to walk with him then our flesh life begins to disappear and he begins to shine through us.
When the sun finally set,all I could see was a wonderful glow in the sky and so it is with us.Once our flesh is put down and we walk in the spirit, then all others see is not us,but the glory of God radiating round us
Just as we can be absolutely certain that the sun will set,so we can have confidence that the Lord will complete the work He has begun in us,even though sometimes we don't seem to be moving.So,just take a momment to look back and see just how far you have come and be encouraged.You will one day radiate the glory of God

I dreamed I had an interview with God.
"So you would like to interview me?" God asked.
"If you have the time" I said.
God smiled. "My time is eternity."
"What questions do you have in mind for me?"
"What surprises you most about humankind?"
God answered...
"That they get bored with childhood,
they rush to grow up, and then
long to be children again."
"That they lose their health to make money...
and then lose their money to restore their health."
"That by thinking anxiously about the future,
they forget the present,
such that they live in neither
the present nor the future."
"That they live as if they will never die,

God's hand took mine
and we were silent for a while.

"As a parent, what are some of life's lessons

"To learn they cannot make anyone

Approaching the feet of Jesus.
He stands before us waiting for us to seek Him. He is ready to listen to our hearts, the things that weigh us down.
But first, we need His forgiveness. He assures us that His death and Resurrection has forgiven us when we confess our sins. He is faithful and will forgive us.
But when times are good, how are we to approach the feet of Jesus, The Son of the Living God.
We can worship Him for Who He is, For Being our Saviour, and for Just being our Friend, even in our moments of joy and blessings, when all is going well.
It's too easy to be caught up in our ministries, our daily grind when we are not faced with bad times. We dont know the sins we have committed when times are good. But we trust in God that He knows what sins we have committed against Him in those good times, and if we confess those sins even though we dont know or can't remember what we have done, He will forgive us through Jesus death and resurrection.
We need to seek him more when times are good. When we are being blessed, when things are working out. it's too easy to forget that God is asking for our attention even more because He knows we need Him for everything.
Approaching the feet of Jesus is not a risky adventure. It's not a scary event that will freak you out or shock you. He is a Friend. We forget that.
We humble ourselves before Him when we have sinned against God, but we can also sit by His side and talk to Him and chat to Him and tell Him we love Him.
He is God.

Lord, we pray for our brothers and sisters who are suffering in war torn countries. We pray for those who are under the effects of religious extremists, those who hate Christians. We pray for those of your church who in prison for their faith, who suffer the torture by orders of evil men.
Be with your Children, Lord, wherever they are in the world who are in the field working for Your Kingdom.
We praise you that Everything you Are is for our good and for the glory of Your Kingdom.
We thank you, Father, for those of us who have the freedom of worshiping you in our countries.
Please do away with evil dictators, and evil men who only harm your Church.
You are doing that already with the death of Sadaam Hussein, and many other Islamic terrorists. But you have everything under control and we know that You are using Islam to wake the western world up to Your Holy Name...and that many muslims are turning to Christ against the extremist Islam. You are always in control, Lord and we have faith that You are always with us.

GOD SAYS:
1. QUIT WORRYING:
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit
and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here
to take all your burdens and carry them for you?
Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little
thing that comes your way?
2. PUT IT ON THE LIST:
Something needs done or taken care of. Put it
on the list. No, not YOUR list. Put it on MY
to-do-list. Let ME be the one to take care
of the problem. I can't help you until you turn
it over to Me. And although My to-do-list
is long, I am after all... God. I can take care
of anything you put into My hands. In fact,
if the truth were ever really known, I take
care of a lot of things for you that you never
even realize.
2. TRUST ME:
Once you've given your burdens to Me,
quit trying to take them back. Trust in
Me. Have the faith that I will take care of
all your needs, your problems and your trials.
Problems with the kids? Put them on My list.
Problem with finances? Put it on My list.
Problems with your emotional roller coaster?
For My sake, put it on My list. I want to
help you. All you have to do is ask.
4. LEAVE IT ALONE:
Don't wake up one morning and say,
"Well, I'm feeling much stronger now, I think
I can handle it from here." Why do you think
you are feeling stronger now? It's simple.
You gave Me your burdens and I'm taking
care of them. I also renew your strength
and cover you in my peace. Don't you
know that if I give you these problems back,
you will be right back where you started?
Leave them with Me and forget about
them. Just let Me do my job.
5. TALK TO ME:
I want you to forget a lot of things.
Forget what was making you crazy.
Forget the worry and the fretting because
you know I'm in control. But there's one
thing I pray you never forget. Please, don't
forget to talk to Me - OFTEN! I love YOU!
I want to hear your voice. I want you to
include Me in on the things going on in your life.
I want to hear you talk about your friends
and family. Prayer is simply you having
a conversation with Me. I want to be your
dearest friend.
6. HAVE FAITH:
I see a lot of things from up here that you
can't see from where you are. Have faith in
Me that I know what I'm doing. Trust Me;
you wouldn't want the view from My eyes.
I will continue to care for you, watch over you,
and meet your needs. You only have to trust Me.
Although I have a much bigger task than you,
it seems as if you have so much trouble just
doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?
7. SHARE:
You were taught to share when you were
only two years old. When did you forget?
That rule still applies. Share with those who are
less fortunate than you. Share your joy with
those who need encouragement. Share your
laughter with those who haven't heard any in
such a long time. Share your tears with those
who have forgotten how to cry. Share your faith
with those who have none.
8. BE PATIENT:
I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime
you could have so many diverse experiences.
You grow from a child to an adult, have children,
change jobs many times, learn many trades,
travel to so many places, meet thousands
of people, and experience so much. How can
you be so impatient then when it takes Me
a little longer than you expect to handle
something on My to-do-list? Trust in My
timing, for My timing is perfect. Just
because I created the entire universe in
only six days, everyone thinks I should
always rush, rush, rush.
9. BE KIND:
Be kind to others, for I love them just
as much as I love you. They may not dress
like you, or talk like you, or live the same way
you do, but I still love you all. Please try
to get along, for My sake. I created each
of you different in some way. It would be
too boring if you were all identical.
Please, know I love each of your differences.
10. LOVE YOURSELF:
As much as I love you, how can you not
love yourself? You were created by me for
one reason only -- to be loved, and to love
in return. I am a God of Love. Love Me.
Love your neighbors. But also love yourself.
It makes My heart ache when I see you
so angry with yourself when things go
wrong. You are very precious to me.
Don't ever forget......

War Within The Spirit
As you know there is war on earth.
And yes there is war within the spirit too.
Yet there is also war between Good vs. Evil.
Satan is the evil mankind is fighting against.
The child of God prays in preparedness in his word.
Knowing a battle that began 9/11 has come to past.
And foreseen Revelation of four Angels, thereafter.
In our strength, willinglyness, and humanity, knowing he will not forsake us, and the strengthening faith to stand.
And of his mercy of humanity regardless... the will to go on.
But I know for every Veteran, P.O.W, Solider, and Civilian.
He gives life eternal, therefore we've not perish cause victory is Jesus.
Hear Love
I hear love from the trees.
I hear love from nature itself,
Which I hear through love birds praises.
I hear the love of the swifting wind through leaves.
As I hear love through music.
I hear love through the love of my ancestor's spirit.
Here only love from heaven.
I hear thy love flow like the river stream...

A NICE LIGHTHEARTED STORY. (Never give up Praising God no matter what people say)
There was a little old lady, who every morning stepped onto her front porch,
raised her arms to the sky, and shouted: "PRAISE THE LORD!"
One day an atheist moved into the house next door. He became irritated at
the little old lady.
Every morning he'd step onto his front porch after her and yell: "THERE IS
NO LORD!"
Time passed with the two of them carrying on this way every day.
One morning, in the middle of winter, the little old lady stepped onto her
front porch and shouted: "PRAISE THE LORD! Please Lord, I have no food and I am starving, provide for me, oh Lord!
The next morning she stepped onto her porch and there were two huge bags of
groceries sitting there.
"PRAISE THE LORD!" she cried out. "HE HAS PROVIDED GROCERIES FOR ME!"
The atheist neighbour jumped out of the hedges and shouted: "THERE IS NO
LORD. I BOUGHT THOSE GROCERIES!!"
The little old lady threw her arms into the air and shouted: "PRAISE THE
LORD! HE HAS PROVIDED ME WITH GROCERIES AND MADE THE DEVIL PAY FOR THEM!

Was Grace that Set Me Free!
It was grace that set me free,
far from the heart ache that tore at me!
Each stripe He bore is now all I see,
Christ was there and grace was free.
He bore my heart when I saw iniquity,
and gave me peace and the chance to plea,
"Come now, oh Father! It is death I seek!
Deliver from pain and the body weak!"
He held me close and opened my eyes,
He answered each question .. the how's and why's.
He bore each tear for each one I felt,
and knew the pain .. by and by I knelt.
"Father, into Your hands I commit my anger and fear!
I give You my heart and soul and pray You near.
For as You have beared the pain yet You gave in love.
Each tear stained pain I lift to the foot of the cross and to You above."
We know not the reason losses and scars we bear,
but know His love and a brothers' care.
Our burdens are shared at Calvary to the King of Hearts.

THE CHOICE
It's quiet. It's early. My coffee is hot. The sky is still dark. The world is asleep. The day is coming. In a few moments, the day will arrive. It will roar down the track with the rising of the sun. The stillness of the dawn will be exchanged for the noise of the day. The calm of solitude will be replaced by the pounding pace of the human race. The refuge of the early morning will be invaded by decisions to be made and deadlines to be met. For the next twelve hours, I will be exposed to the day's demands. It is now that I must make a choice. I'm free to choose. And so I choose.
I CHOOSE LOVE.
No occasion justifies hatred; no injustice warrants bitterness. I choose love. Today I will love God and what God loves.
I CHOOSE JOY.
I will invite God to be the God of all my circumstances. I will refuse the temptation to be cynical ... the tool of the lazy thinker. I will refuse to see people as anything less than human beings, created by God. I will refuse to see any problem as less than an opportunity to see God.
I CHOOSE PEACE.
I will live forgiven. I will forgive so that I may live.
I CHOOSE PATIENCE.
I will overlook the inconveniences of the world. Instead of cursing the one who takes my place, I'll invite him to do so. Rather than complain that the wait is too long, I will thank God for a moment to pray. Instead of clenching my fist at new assignments, I will face them with joy and courage.
I CHOOSE KINDNESS.
I will be kind to the poor, for they are alone. Kind to the rich, for they are afraid. And kind to the unkind, for such is how God has treated me.
I CHOOSE GOODNESS.
I will go without a dollar before I take a dishonest one. I will be overlooked before I will boast. I will confess before I will accuse. I choose goodness.
I CHOOSE FAITHFULNESS.
Today I will keep my promises. My debtors will not regret their trust. My spouse, my children, my family and my friends will never have reason to question my love for them.
I CHOOSE GENTLENESS.
Nothing is won by force. I choose to be gentle. If I raise my voice, may it be only in praise. If I clench my fist, may it be only in prayer. If I make a demand, may it be only of myself.
I CHOOSE SELF-CONTROL.
I am a spiritual being. After this body is dead, my spirit will soar. I choose self-control. I will be drunk only by joy. I will be impassioned only by my faith. I will be influenced and taught only by Christ. I choose self-control.
LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, and SELF-CONTROL.
To these I commit my day. If I succeed, I will give thanks. If I fail, I will seek His grace. And then, when this day is done, I will place my head on my pillow and rest.
And tomorrow I will choose these things again.

PERSONAL PLEA: Please pray for Shappelle Corby, an Australian who has been given 20 years in a hot and crowded Bali prison for possessing drugs when she has proven to be innocent. The drugs were planted in her luggage. Her ordeal has allowed her to find God. Please could people continue to pray for her spiritual and emotional strength and that the Indonesians will allow her to come home to Australia soon. We believe it's for a bias cause because she is not a Muslim. They are not so ready to kill off the Bali bombers, but are ready to sentence an innocent girl for a long haul in Bali. She needs people's prayers and the strength to keep her faith strong.
