ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!?! # FIVE!!! WOW!!! Speaking of which, Billye Mae had her 2nd child (another boy) on 12/28 last year. They're both doing fine and she LOVES being a mom! Just keep her in your prayers though. She's a bookkeeper and has been going through a LOT of stress due to tax season.

I'm helping out at a church in western NE with children's ministry and senior adult ministry and having so much fun! I got back from men's retreat recently and had a time of refreshing and encouragement there. I find that sometimes it's good to take a short break and find my bearings on the compass again...asking myself "Where am I?" and "Where am I going?" Our speaker was Dr. Isaac Canales from California. Work at the manufacturing plant is slow right now so I'm trying to use the extra time to my advantage. (We grow a lot of sugar beets around here, too, Jenn.) Some of you may remember Joel and his sister April Writer at TBC. April is our pastor's wife here now.

yup #5. They have 2 boys and 2 girls and it went b,g,b,g..so she thinks she might be having a boy. She's cute pregnant. I saw her a few weeks ago and they are very excited for the new addition. They have a big enough house, so room wise they ain't worried.

Here is a little update on Teresa and I. We are still living here in Sioux Falls, SD and we have recently accepted a position as youth pastors in Canton, South Dakota. This is not a paid position but volunteer but God seemed to lead and direct us to this church. There may come a point when it will become a possible part time position but we dont know when. Canton is 20 miles south of Sioux Falls, so initially we will be driving down but we may even look into apartments down there and even new jobs so we can be close to the kids that we will be ministering to. I also am going to be preaching on the 30th of March, so please keep me in prayer because it has been a long time since I have preached and I dont know what to speak on.

Apparently this thread needs to be revived! It's been a little too quiet on here that last couple of days (besides the few posts in TPBM thread)...
So, what's going on??? What is everyone so busy doing?

I'm doing ok. This past Friday, I learned I didn't get the position I interviewed for 2 weeks ago and that my last day at the police station will be 4/25. At least they're giving me 3 weeks to look for something else, but still very stressful. So please keep me in prayer that something turns up... SOON!! :)
Mark, my husband, on the other hand is doing pretty well. He's back at his old company and recently had a pay increase. So that's DEFINITELY a blessing! And... he's losin' weight like crazy! I just bought him a new belt 2 weeks ago, and within a week, he was telling me he only has 1 hole left before that one gets too big! He finally weighed himself this past weekend at his parents and he's lost 30 pounds! And it's still coming off. :) Now if I can just do the same for me. ;) Now that is a work in progress. :)

No real plans for the weekend. Mark's B-day is 2day and we celebrated early 2nite. We were planning to go the Olive Garden in DSM, but because we're supposed to have nasty storms 2morrow and Mark was STARVING from work, we just went to Applebees where one of his younger brothers, Donnie, works. It was really good. Afterwards, we went to one of younger brothers, Ben, so he could get in their hot tub to relax (his back has been really sore for the last few days). And now we're back at Donnie's place just chatting away. So so far, we're having a decent weekend. Too bad Tuesday will be here before we know it. Have a good weekend everyone!

Darryn and I have officially moved to Canton. I have been working at my new job for 2 weeks and he has been working for 1 week now. Things are going pretty good so far.

I don't know what my excuse is?? just busy normal life stuff--and haven't really checked in.
I'll be gone a lot this month. Tomorrow we are headed to good ol' FaHoCha camp (a non-denom. camp near Devils Lake, ND), where Rick will be speaking for the 12 and 13 yr. olds. It's such a fun camp!! And then we have a wedding (on our anniversary--the 7th). Then the 20-30 we are going to Italy on a mission's trip!! Woo Hoo!! I am so excited!!!
So that's what's up with me. :-)

hey. It's been forever since I've been on. 1) My laptop kapooted so I'm using my mom and dad's compy till mine gets fixed. 2) I've been working alot.
I have no plans except helping with VBS, and chaperoning at some camps in July. I'm ready to go back to school believe it or not.
