I think he was more complaing about his Chevy. When I left Des Moines Friday night, gas was $2.73. It's nice, but it'd be a HUGGGE blessing if it were a DOLLAR LESS!!!

I'm not proud, just broke. We are going to MT in the next ten days and we decided to take the train because of gas prices.

My prayers are with you Andy. We are going up to South Dakota in March. Even at 35 MPG it is still going to be quite expensive.

On the other hand I like driving fast and also when I am coming down the off ramp here in Chicago I need to be able to get up to 70 pretty fast or.... well you know. I also (with my silverado) can pull at least 5000 lbs and drive 75 running 2200 rpm. So it is give and take. Also comfort wise my tahoe is pretty nice, but again that is the big exchange.

When we went to Fargo, practically all the money we had went for gas. It was expensive.
I think our gas line froze because we couldn't afford to fill up the tank before the big freeze hit. We rarely put in more then $25 at a time. It's hard to watch the numbers roll over $60 for a tank of gas when you have to buy diapers & food & electricity...etc.

Michele, I know what you mean. We were at TBC with 2 kids and gas prices were shooting through the roof. Ellendale is not the most exciting place on Earth and we enjoyed going to Jamestown or Aberdeen. When we first got to TBC in 2002 gas prices were around the $1.50 mark, they shot up to $2.00 over night and our weekend excursions were cut way back.

Yeah. And to think that when we were in college, we thought a $1.47/gal was outrageous! That'd be WONDERFUL now!

UGH!! I REBUKE ANYTHING OVER $3.00!! I'm still rebuking anything over $2.00! When I came home from work, gas in Des Moines is $2.84/gal. On Tues. it was $2.73.

At least we can all be proud of the fact that we helped fatten the RECORD profits for the Oil Company Fatcats!

Ugh! We went to ND this last week & it was $3.24 in Valley City. It's between $3.14-3.19 in town here. I expect it to get worse before it gets better.

There's no need to fear...Memorial Day Weekend is almost here! Any gas prices, large or small, are bound to go up...I'm afraid that's all. (Filled the tank for about $3.15/gal yesterday.)

We are at $3.29 here and the barrel was close to $110, so I'm sure it will go up more. It went up an average of $0.27 this month.

Your prices are giving me heartburn and anxiety!!!
We are still hovering around $3.09, and at first I thought that was terrible, but compared to you guys--I change my mind!
