And thank you for stopping by "OUR" group. I have had the pleasure of being owned by horses most of my life. I have had more horses than I can count. Why? Well I not only love them, but when I was very young I think the second grade, I got my first pony. I loved her so much and did not know I could love something so much. Well I walked every day in the mountains to my bus stop and would pass by a few horses that where not loved or treated well. This gave me an idea. I decided to work in my neighborhood doing odd jobs. I started a regular business. What for? Well I started rescuing horses and learning everything I possibly could about them. I actually rescued everything. Living on a farm it goes with the territory. I had at one time 11 horses, 20 cats, 13 dogs, 200 chickens, a potbelly pig, a few pheasants, some turkeys, a retarded duck, and yes 5 goats.... I have had other animals but I have to say horses are my favorite.... and I have enjoyed all the time I have had with them and training people to know horses is a passion of mine. I can walk into a horses stall and in a matter of moments identified how it views people and know where to build on that relationship. I started this group because I know there are others out there with a passion for horses and a passion for knowing there spirit. Hello, and welcome to High Flying Farms.
