As parents of a child with, what society calls, disabilities we are calling out to other parents or guardians (when we say parents from now on it will include other guardians also) of children with mild to borderline mental disabilities. As a work in process, we can only offer an ear to hear and a voice to pray at this time, but the goal is to get parents together to get the resources to help one another. My wife, Sherry, has a dream of opening a special kind of place where our children (regardless of age) can work, play, and interact. Again, this is a work in process. The first step is to start an Internet support group and this is it - Lauren's Call. Let's start talking!
