I named this the 'active' roleplay group because if you join you have to keep your story (or character) ACTIVE. No dying stories! You can write about anything you want- cartoons, real life, anime, super heroes, soldiers, elves, anything at all; but you have to keep it going! Pretty much everyone knows the rules to this sort of thing, but here's a few for this one:
If your character is inactive for two days, someone can control it (but not kill it) until you return or say something about it.
If your character is needed- like if someone says something to your person and knows what they want him to say, then they can go ahead and use them. For example:
Hazel (me) asked Rose, "Do you feel alright?"
Rose nodded. "I'll be fine."
Having taken care of Rose, Hazel turned to Rowan and....
See? It saves a lot of time that way. My character was taking care of Rose but was also in the middle of a conversation with Rowan. If Rose's 'owner' already had an idea, like if she wanted Rose to go into a coma or WHATEVER then she can just tell me and i'll change it- but until then we can keep going with the story and it won't die. Make sense?
The story in progress right now pretty consists of demons and vampires and rouge gunmen and stuff like that. It's plot is kind of a work in progress but the general idea is for everyone to end up fighting (and of course defeating) Dragon, a big evil sorcerer bent on world domination through the dark arts. You can start another story if you really want to, but if you want to do that then it would make more sense to make your own group or join Team/Duo-writing RP/feedback.
Blood and gore is fine, but no swearing and no sexual content. (Or pretty much anything that will get you kicked off shoutlife. use common courtesy and sense.)
That's about it, until I think of something else. Let the writing begin!
