This is about REIKI HEALING, mainly the TRADITIONAL and White Light Methods of the Ancient USUI System of Natural Healing. REIKI {RAY-KAY} in Japanese means "Universal Life Force Energy".
I've learned to perform Traditional and White Light Methods of treatments. Presently I'm at Level 2 of 6th Generation Lineage from DR. MIKAO USUI. There's 3 original Levels, the 3rd being Master Level. There is no need for anyone to advance to the highest level as the 1st and 2nd are more than sufficient forever. Also, a Reiki Master upholds many tremendous and time-consuming responsibilities which are to be taken very seriously.

It is referred to in professional terms as "Energy Medicine".
In existence for about 2500 years, Reiki was rediscovered in the late 1800's by Dr. Mikao Usui while on a 3 week sabbatical atop a nearby Holy Mountain in Japan.
As a Buddhist Monk in a Kyoto monastery, he studied as a Christian Scholar for 25 years, seeking Biblical truths and about LORD JESUS CHRIST.
I've sought out and preferred the absolute PURE TRUTHS and PURPOSES of REIKI, for my own health as well as for others. That is why I stress the TRADITIONAL METHOD verses any other "style" or "fad" and stay close to the BASICS, shunning all other "EGO-based" ideas in healing modalities from my thoughts and life. I feel that this keeps Reiki PURE and SIMPLE for concentration on priorities - mainly, the WELL-BEING of recipients (clients).
There's TONS of information on Reiki on the internet but I advise you to READ and RESEARCH CAREFULLY and FULLY and do NOT believe everything that you see or hear! There are those whom irresponsibly lay claims and/or accept false and exaggerated credit for Reiki treatment results.
From my first Level 1 lessons, I was firmly taught (and do sincerely believe) that GOD, our Father in Heaven, is given FULL CREDENCE for Reiki's wonderful results. Reiki Practitioners are only GOD'S TOOLS - HIS INSTRUMENT. Our Heavenly Father - GOD - is the HEALER and PERMITS us to perform the treatments (sessions) as His proxy.

..."THE USUI SYSTEM OF NATURAL HEALING".
The full effects of treatments lay within the responsibility of the recipients/clients, due to individual lifestyle choices, so this author lays no claims to guarantees nor warrantees. Receipients do not need to believe that Reiki will "work" for it to actually do so.
Many emergency cases are treated by Reiki ractitioners working in Medical Health Facilities as Medical Doctors, Nurses, Aides, Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, etc. They "multi-task" using their Reiki "Gift" with other Holistic and Natural methods as well as treating patients at their offices.
