Moderated By: IndieManager Members: 113 Created On: Mar 11, 2007 As I work with many indie artists in search of the right tools to assist them in reaching their goals, I'm finding that most of them feel "locked out" of the industry and very confused on issues related to career development, marketing, promotions, traditional distribution, digital distribution, bookings, etc. This group will help bring clarity to the independent artist in these areas for which you and I provide resources. This group's purpose, therefore, is to bring industry personnel together for the purpose of information sharing, networking, and strategic planning, all for the ultimate goal of providing the very best resources available for the indie artist that are typically reserved for the "A-level" artist. John Styll, President of GMA, shares my desire to see indie resource providers like you and I have an open forum of ideas and community-building where we can strengthen our relationships with one another to ultimately benefit the indie artist, all to God's glory.
