Moderated By: Frank Creed, TWCP Members: 331 Created On: Mar 3, 2007 Welcome to the ShoutLife Authors' Media Room! FOR AUTHORS: Sometimes, promoting our works can be harder than creating them. I'd like this to be one more tool in your PR box. I'll create some "sticky" templates you can use as models for media releases, and other promotional tools, tips, whatever. Please join in not only by posting your media releases and news, but sharing your successful strategies as well. I'll start topic threads by two-month periods (Mar-Apr 07, for example.) Place your media releases in the month of your event. If your release spans longer than a two-month period, please post it in each applicable spot. DO NOT post outside of the topics. This is to make it easier for the media to find the ones that affect the issue of the paper, magazine, etc. they are writing. MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA: I hope this site will be useful to you. To help you with deadlines, organizing schedules, etc., I've arranged for media releases to be posted by event date. If this method does not work for you, please offer some alternatives. I also have section called "Media Needs." If you are looking for something in particular, want to post submission guidelines, or wish to air a peeve, please do so here. As writers, we know a good working relationship starts with knowing what editors want. If we work as the Body of Christ, each contributing with our talents, His will shall be done for our art.
