Set in Genesee Valley in the northern Sierras of California, Genesee Home is a slice of Heaven.
A visit to Genesee Home is a Sabbath Rest for renewal and refreshment of your ministry and marriage.
The primary ministry of Genesee Home is to provide an environment where Pastors, Missionaries, and their spouses can break away from their normal daily routine and retreat to a wilderness setting free from the distractions of ministry.
What better place to enjoy a quiet, relaxing time in a supreme example of God's creation!

At Genesee Home, we understand how important Pastors and their spouses are to God and how critical their role is in furthering His Kingdom through the local church. Because we love Pastors and their spouses, God has led us to create a retreat home which offers Pastoral couples an opportunity to spend quiet time together to strengthen their lives, marriages and ministries.. When Pastors take time out to focus on their relationships with God, and their spouses, everything in their lives and ministry works better.
Our prayer for you during your stay at Genesee Home is that you will experience a Sabbath Rest, be filled with God's Holy Spirit, be strengthened in your marriage, and be sustained by God's living water. Our desire is to welcome you with hospitality and send you on your way filled with the peace of Christ.
You will be provided comfortable accommodations with your own well apportioned private room and bath. You are served excellent gourmet meals prepared with loving care especially for you. In addition, there are endless recreational opportunities available as well as peace and quiet so that you may enter into God's Sabbath Rest.
Our modest cost to pastoral couples is $395 per couple per week.
Our goal is to create a safe and relaxing environment where you can grow closer to God and your spouse. Whether you feel worn out from ministry or you are searching for a catalyst God can use to help to guide you forward, Genesee Home can be that next step.
