About Byron Caine
The sultry sounds of Byron Caine can be heard in churches, hotels, restaurants, and major venues around the country. From the smooth sounds of his alto saxophone, to the deep tones of the tenor into the melodious soft sounds of his soprano, Byron captivates audiences of all ages.

Byron has been composing and arranging music since he was very young. His interests in music began to grow as he banged on his grandmother's piano and his mother's pots and pans.

He began formal instruction in the sixth grade at Waller Elementary School. Throughout school Byron competed in many competitions bringing home first place trophies and one-ratings. He was a well-noted and recognized player in his district at UIL and countless churches. After graduating, Byron continued to strengthen his skills and foundation and chose to major in Music Education and Music Performance. He began studies at Prairie View A&M University where he was a member of the Marching Storm Band. He later transferred to Sam Houston State University, where his career rocketed to a higher height.

Byron has performed with many distinguished artists, including Melba Moore, Freida Payne, Little Richard, to name a few. He has worked with and toured for the Fox Network, Carnival Cruises, and Southern Empress Paddleboat sharing the stage with the likes of George Wallis, Julie Brown, and Richard Jenning. Byron has played and soloed on countless albums for numerous artists.

His most recent work has been on his debut album entitled Discovery. Although his principle instrument is saxophone, Byron also plays and has studied piano, bass guitar, cello, trombone, clarinet, baritone, euphonium, and French horn. While the vast majority of Byron's performances are in the pop genre, he can also be found playing gospel, jazz, county western, Latin, and rock.

He is currently preparing for the tour of his album and working with various bands such as the Big Otis Show Band, Donnie Vondra and Tejas, the Jimmie Hunter Band, and more.

When Byron is not blowing his horns or composing a new song, he enjoys going to the movies, cooking, and fishing.
