MY STORY (oh but so much more to tell):..... There is nothing more precious than my Love for Jesus Christ. For so long I lived "in the world" and I mean the evils of the world. At age 19 I was saved.. BORN AGAIN, but I did Not give my entire life to Him then, I still partied and hung out in the depths of evil for MANY years (trust me when I tell you I played with evil and the pits of addiction). After the Lord convicted my heart over and over and over (the LORD is so sweet and patient), I finally dedicated my whole self, my thoughts, speech, TIME, the way I dressed, gave up friends, everything was now about Jesus. Shortly after that I was driving home from church one night and an entire song came into my mind (the Lyrics and the beat), I had NEVER written lyrics IN MY LIFE, never even thought about it. My husband being a musician looked over my lyrics, he asked "did YOU really write this" (not meaning to sound mean) he was just amazed at the words, they were awesome!! Then the Lord started bringing lyrics into my dreams, sometimes in an audible voice, kinda weird huh?, He gave me entire songs during my sleep and I would wake and write them down immediately. So now I have been a Lyricist for about 4 years, if only I had dedicated my whole self earlier but GODs purpose STILL REMAINED (remember that). Anyway, I am happily married for 10 years but we have been together 16 years. The Lord meant for Steve and I to be together and Steve would find Jesus as well. The Lord put us together to create beautiful music to GLORIFY THE ALMIGHTY!! Life is not always easy, I make mistakes, the hurts in life are still there and at times worse than ever, but there is a JOY that is indescribable and worth giving up my flesh till the day I meet my Savior in Heaven.
My husband and I are the founding members of the christian worship / rock band 'ENDURING HOUSE'. I have written most of the lyrics and above are six of our songs, my husband put together the awesome music (all instruments) in our home studio that we built, and John sings beautifully. The Lord sent each band member (six total) and we have played tons of gigs/concerts. Before my eyes God's hand is in this. We together worship the Lord with a music ministry and want to GLORIFY GOD in all that we do.
