1. SKETCH (2007)
SheepLaughs Records

To the mind-bending sounds of kazoos he envisioned a world where a sit down comedian had a place at the humor buffet. A place where a man could boldly produce off the wall sketches at 4am and others would find humor in the pre-dawn antics of a lunatic mind. Ultimately that place was found in a colorful world called "SKETCH." Being the foremost sit down comedian in his neighborhood Glenn Hascall takes you on an adventure that will grace your face with a smile and leave you pondering deeper meanings that he might not have even intended. Welcome to the world of "SKETCH" - a comedy CD.

When Jordan Douglas moves to a ranch in the middle of nowhere he unwittingly stumbles across a decades-old mystery. A hidden room in the ranch house provides the beginning of a search to discover a little-known secret that no one has spoken of in years. A mysterious man holds part of the answer, but only the return of a former resident of the community can complete the search for the truth. Struggling with his own sense of belonging, Jordan discovers facts in unlikely places and it is his persistence that helps bring life back to someone in need of coming to terms with his own past. Writing

My love for writing began in third grade when I wrote an ode to the rubber band (It actually had more to do with being struck by a rubber band than any other reasonable use). Today I write as many as 25 articles a week for various clients (almost none are related to the rubber band - in fact, I am grateful there are no cyber rubber bands - otherwise it's back to therapy - SNAP).

My work has appeared in more than 40 books and has been purchased by folks like Bethany House, Thomas Nelson, Regal and Integrity. (See links to the left)

I have three books of my own and two of them are still available. I can get the third, but it takes a midnight visit to a guy named Guido and he generally sells out of the back of his 1972 Caddy. Where he gets them is a question that's best left unasked (He's a testy hooligan).

More than a year ago I signed on to be lead writer for a series of children's textbooks. This faith-based textbook series will have 30 books when complete and I have finished my part of the first twenty-one. I was also hired to work on a series of companion volumes that deal with comprehension questions and have finished work on the first book.

Much of my work is as ghostwriter so it's possible you have read some of my material although my name was never attached. To date I've written close to 1,000 articles as a ghost writer.

Radio

Interestingly, my day job is behind the microphone. I am the station manager (and morning guy) for Christian radio station KHYM.

I also provide voice work for three other stations as well as providing imaging for the top ten Christian station on the web EZRAWeb Radio. I also write a weekly commentary for the fine folks at Ezraweb. Then when I'm really bored I voice commercials for other radio stations.

Freelancing

Original content for your website may be less expensive than you think. Original audio for your podcast, website or radio station may be more affordable than you imagine.

I'm also an avid photographer, so I placed a few stills to your left. Enjoy (Hint: Comments are really nice).

What makes life worth living

In order...

1) My relationship with Jesus Christ.
2) My relationship with my wife.
3) My relationship with my children.
4) Everything else.

Probably the greatest thrill (in writing) was when I was told that a drama I had written was instrumental in allowing someone to see their need for Jesus. Woo hoo.

I've been a husband since 1986, a daddy since 1995, a broadcaster since 1984 and a professional writer since 1995.

Well "middle of the month" is now looking more like the "end of the month." I thought this was going to be done before I got here. Oy. *hehe* Bah, the drive doesn't bother me -- it's just the gas prices! At least I'm out of that motel room and in my own apartment. I really like it here. Blessings!
