Background
Fred has been involved in music since he was old enough to climb up on the piano bench. He grew up in McRae, GA - the youngest of 4 siblings and a wonderful set of parents who always taught Christian values and faith. He attended Georgia Southern University where he was a Presser Scholarship Recipient and received his Batchelor of Music, Double-Majoring in Piano Performance and Theory/Composition.
Ministry
Fred was Director of Worship for New Life Christian Fellowship in Vicksburg, MS for two years, Chief Musician and Worship Leader for Christian Renewal Church of St. Simons Island, GA for 11 years, and is currently serving as the Worship and Music Director for St. Simons Community Church on St. Simons Island, GA. He continues to write, produce, and publish praise, worship, and instrumental music through his company, Highest Praise Productions and produces two popular podcasts: Worship Interludes:, an authentic, spontaneous time of Spirit-led worship, instrumental segments, prayer, and mediation. The Highest Praise Worship Podcast: featuring new praise and worship music from labels and indie artists.
Personal
Fred loves his family. He has a beautiful wife, Joy, and 4 incredible kids, Jon Michael, Will, Rebekah, and Andrew. He loves being on the coast, making music, playing piano, ministering to others, and doing fun stuff like fishing, hunting, and is an online entrepreneur, operating multiple web-based businesses, including a web hosting company, TheWorshipCommunity.Com, an online forum/community for worship leaders, ministers, and technicians, and several online e-commerce sites. He also loves to blog and read other's blogs!
