Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Revelation 19:10 The Lord came to visit our house in April of 1976 and opened our spiritual eyes and ears. We had been reading our kids a volume of bible stories as the Spirit of God moved in our midst. Of course many people both friends and relatives were praying and petitioning God for our salvation and we will be forever great full to those involved and to Him for His everlasting mercy and compassion toward us.
Coming out of the Night Club and entertainment scene where every thing you did was to stimulate and excite the emotions or senses, so you played what it took to accomplish it and satisfy the crowed to keep your job and position in the music scene. This burden eventually took it's toll with health issues ..ulcers ,nervous conditions, drugs etc. but that heavy load incredibly lifted when we took on the yoke of Jesus as "all things became new in Him" The only begotten Son of God. Jesus said "My yoke is easy and my burden is light"
Joan and I had never read the Bible except for looking up an explanation and discourse of some personal supposition that certain individuals had mentioned that it was so-called confirmed in the Bible. But like I heard some one say "I'd rather listen to a donkey brea on a tin roof at midnight". I never did believe in evolution? just a little to corny for my thinking, to come from another planet well that made a whole lot more of natural sense and evolution was just a whole lot of theories and unstable suppositions that I had learned about in school and of course got a failing mark in school for if you didn't know or agree with the multitude that hierarchy put in place. To add to the humanistic mystery of things was the fact that they failed you if you didn't agree. Weaving a multi cultural blanket to nestle under with cozy comfort lifestyles of religion that thwart the meaning of commitment to the actions of the Love and compassion in the Jesus way. So needless to say I didn't have much admiration or confidence in the Pillars of Society or hierarchy of the land so to speak even before I was a believer in the Lord.
We could write a book or two on the greatness and goodness of God in regards to testimony in our own lives and in the lives of countless others that we have met and worked with over the years.
Being involved in various Ministries over the past 30 years from Youth for Christ, Full Gospel Businessmen, The Shanty men, Kings Inn and Salvation Army Street Ministries along with leading of song service in our local House Church at Narcoslie Creek B.C. Canada and for others as they requested they all have been rewarding times to see what the Lord does and the extent He goes to get people's attention and have them saved and reconciled back to Him.
We have joined the countless others who have experienced the miracles , signs and wonders, and incredible acts of compassion and tender mercy from this Lord of Lords and King of Kings. The one who rescued and delivered us from the hands of the enemy. The testimony of Jesus Christ is still and ever will be the spirit of prophecy and His Blood will ever be the over coming power by which we survive. Still the best selling book of all time, still challenged and yet never disproved by the most knowledgeable figures of our day, and still the only one to give perfect peace and this comes as we become less and He becomes more.

Joan and I have been married for thirty seven years now and have raised three children Tallon, Angela and Chelsea who in turn have their own quiver of arrows making us grandparents of six and very grateful needless to say. God help us to continue on and to press on to the mark of the high call and to Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death
