I am originally from Florida. As a military wife I traveled extensively, even living in Guam for a couple of years. I moved to Colorado in 1987, I have lived here for the past nineteen years.
I love to write. My first book that was published is for children 12 and up. Childrens fiction is my favorite genre. Although I do have another book in the works that is adult fiction.
I live here with my 2 dogs and a Quaker Parrot. I have a Doberman and a Pekingese. The Doby's name is "Tuvok," and the Peke's name is "Sasha." My Parrot's name is "Sammy." They are my babies. I have three daughters and eight Grandchildren. My Grandchildren range in age from 22 years old to 5 months old. I am very proud of my grandchildren. They are all beautiful and smart. That is a totally unbiased opinion. Ha, Ha!I have worked with children most of my life in one capacity or another. I have taught Sunday school, worked VBS, Worked with a youth group for two years. I guess you would say that God gave me a heart for children.
I enjoy writing childrens fiction, I like to write for the 12 and up age group. Although I have just finished a second book and it is more for young adults or adults. A third book I am working on is for adults.
I also love animals, I guess I should have been a Veterinarian. I couldn't bear putting an animal down though.I guess my grand passion in life is the cause of children and animals. They are helpless and can't speak for
themselves. Any way that's who I am.
