Edgar mata hijo de Victor Perez y Silvia de Mata, crecio con el sueño de querer cantar en grandes escenarios a nivel internacional proclamando un mensaje diferente.Devido a que provenia de una familia de pocos recursos no pudo prepararse en su niñez como el queria pero eso lo empujo a estudiar la carreara de maestro en formacion musical de la cual se graduo y luego ingresaria al Conservatorio Nacional de Guatemala en donde estudiaria algunos años.

Acepto a Cristo a los 20 años de edad en iglesia Puerta del Cielo z.6 en donde siente un fuerte llamado a evangelizar por medio de la mùsica y es asi como se inicia tocando la guitarra y cantando en barrios y departamentos de Guatemala.Graba su primer sencillo como solista llamado " no digas que no " producido por Saul Aragon quien quien lo imvita a incursionar al campo del rock.Luego de unos meses unen fuerzas en el ministerio SI y asì seguir con un llamado evangelistico.

Se inicia en la banda grabando en el Disco Nicky cruz.Actualmente esta en estudios preparando lo que seria su 2do. album.

Edgar Mata son of Victor Perez and Silvia Mata, grew up with the dream of wanting to sing at major venues internationally diferente.Devido proclaiming a message that came from a family with few resources could not prepare his childhood as he wanted, but that I push to master Carrara study in music education from which he graduated and then would enter the National Conservatory of Guatemala where he would study a few years.
