Earamas tm represents the music and lyrics by songwriters Gary Wayne Clark and Glen Dale Spreen. And . . . introducing our newest band members, Ali, Justin, and Raz the Wonder dog, aka EtNG, now recording on the Earamas label.

What's our story? Hey, thanks for asking.
Somewhere along life's musical highway; you may have heard the music that Glen produced for big record labels, such as songs by Elvis, Waylon Jennings, Dan Fogelberg and Willie Nelson. In life, they say to "be careful what you wish for, it just may come true."
Sometimes, recording for a big label means compromising on what you hear in your heart. So we formed our own label, Earamas, as a way to respond to a different calling; provide a way for artists to create music and stories that explore many different paths, simply for the joy of that creation.
We are not driven by weekly billboard charts, iTunes downloads or making monster numbers for a label because we give the majority of our profits to charity. Can it work? Well, for us, yes, it does.
We are having fun, attracting fantastic new talent, and apparently some people are listening - we are now getting played on Internet radio in over 85 countries around the world, and steadily climbing.
We have 3 releases on iTunes and Cd Baby: Emonesia and Taos Skies, and our current project is a Science Fiction soundtrack entitled "Passage to Niburu", the music for our upcoming audio book podCast "Devolution - Rise of the Chimera".
Thanks for stopping by and giving us a listen! You can stream more of our music for free on the Reverb Nation Player above, or online at www.earamas.com.
Peace Out,
Gary Clark

Emonesia is the first album together by Gary Clark and Glen Spreen. Emonesia is best described as "Nashville meets Hollywood for ballads, love songs and stories in a Soft Rock style with a Country twist".
Taos Skies is an instrumental vision quest by Glen Spreen. Close your eyes, relax and imagine a lonely starry night in the desert of New Mexico. As that warm desert wind gently swirls its embrace around you, Taos Skies will whisper to you in the distant echoes of your mind.
To us, music is a blessing to share throughout our lives. Though we each live in far away places, we have harnessed the power of digital recording and the Internet to create a virtual recording world which we all share to write and record songs together.
Our most recent band member is my teenage daughter on lead guitar. She attends an all girl's Christian high school, so playing lead guitar with her "elders" has helped her grow and find her voice as a musician and young woman. In her spare time from high school, she plays lead guitar with several bands at Rock Nation (a music performance school). This adventure takes us to many places where the light wants to shine - a world apart from the world of plaid skirts, ponytails and matching white blouses. We are happy to support her in her personal mission to bring peace through her music.
In addition, she brings a whole new world of musical influences to our minds and hearts, from Muse, My Chemical Romance to Regina Spektor. Ah, to be 17 years old and already have a movie soundtrack credit . . . Learning from someone who has produced Elvis may have its advantages, but also never underestimate the power of a teenage girl on a mission.
Many of our songs seek to tell the story of the trials of faith that we each face in our daily lives, and sometimes, what we have learned along the way. Like everyone else, ours is not a perfect world. We have taken a wild ride on the emotional rollercoaster of life. But we have found that whenever God closes a door, somewhere, he opens a window. It's up to us to find that open window.
Some of our most recent material is written for television and motion pictures, and involves some rather divergent themes, such as science fiction, fantasy and adventure stories. We are also working with on an animated story for Internet "webisodes" (and cell phone downloads) that takes place in the future on a mythical planet called "Niburu".
Even with projects such as these targeted for a secular mainstream audience, we find a way to weave a fabric of faith into the cloth. Sometimes it may be hard to understand, but God has a mission for each of us. We just need to be listening, and ready to receive the plan when it is revealed.
So what is in a name? Our name, Earamas, is a word we made up to suggest to the listener that "the more you listen, the more you hear". If you close your ears to the world around you and redirect your musical perception inward, new possibilities can awaken.
We strive to tell stories with our music and songs that allow people to discover what the music may mean for each of you. We hope our musical message resonates with you as you walk your own path in life.
God has blessed our music and our lives, and we are fortunate to no longer be driven by the demands of touring or record labels. We now can spend the time to train talented young musicians, make all the decisions about our music, and determine how to share our music with others. The benefit - our music comes directly from our heart to you.
To celebrate our blessing, in 2007 we donated 100% of our music profits to our favorite charities, such as the Peace Thru Music Foundation, a non profit group that donates musical instruments to schools so that kids who would otherwise be silent can experience the gift of music.
Peace,
Gary Clark

Background
What seems to be only a moment ago, we arrived by chance together at a bend in the road. From one path of bands, budgets, and contracts and the other of computers, commuters and dot com disputers, we stood together looking down both roads as far as the eye could see.
Sorry to not travel both roads, we made a choice, went all in and caught a cowboy on the river. Was it fate or just chance that guided our path? Maybe a bit of both, but one might say that chance favors the prepared mind.
As we look back and remember that bend in the road, we chose to take the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. Emonesia tells the story of that first path taken, and what we have learned along the way.
But just as one path opens to another, there are more paths to explore just around the next bend. As many have learned, it's not the destination, but the journey that defines us - so relax and enjoy the ride for the best is yet to come.
Emonesia ---> Liner Notes
"Nashville meets Hollywood - singer / songwriter ballads, love songs and life stories in a Soft Rock style with a Country twist".
A Thousand Voices - Thoreau once said that the mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. That can only be true if we do not raise our voice to be heard, regardless of who is listening. Stuart McIntire on lead Guitar, man that guy can wail. Stuart, where are you now?
Night Stalker was written along with a script by Tom Hubbell for a TV show called Midnight Caller. Recap - The Nighthawk tangles with a really creepy Jason-like dream killer, with vocal by Bonnie Rait. Kind of a Metalica pre-Sandman story.
Unfortunately, Midnight Caller ran 61 episodes but got cancelled before this episode was finallized, so the Night Stalker is still out there somewhere . . . just don't go to sleep.
Somewhere in Time was one of the first songs Glen and I worked on together, and marked our decision to focus on this material. Time travel was the inspiration, and the question of what happens when we die. It was the last song that my sister Joy would ever hear, but I know she is listening today.
Phantom was written for the one that almost got away. I finally understood that he who hesitates is lost, and no, she didn't get away.
Lonely with Someone You Love, we originally cut as a motown feel. This song was later recorded by Tommie Lee Jackson on her country album Looking for a Friend. We felt honored to have this song included on Tommie's album with 3 Grammy award winning songwriters (such as Wayne Carson, who wrote Always on My Mind - a big hit for Willie Nelson.
We cut Secret Lover with a number of singers looking for the right home for this song. This is the original version and features some gentle guitar work by the legendary Bill Murrell, who stopped by the studio one day. We drifted apart over the years, and it was to be the only cut that we ever recored together.
Never be Alone Again was one of those songs that tumbled around in my mind for a while, and as songs often do, just came rushing out one day. When that occured, I locked myself in the studio alone that weekend and put down this acoustic version. After we listened to it later, we decided we liked it as a raw demo cut, but we may circle back and release a full orchestral version in a future project.

Thanks to John and Brian at Instrumental Music for getting us up and running, Wayne Carson for the kind encouragement and Jillaine for the inspiration.
Special thanks to my partner and friend, Glen Spreen - one of the most talented music minds I have ever met. Little did we know that day at Blue Cross when we met that the road of life would take this turn. Thanks for showing me the ropes.
And now, Ali and Justin, the ball's in your court. You are both talented and have special, unique voices . . . don't worry who is listening, just follow your heart.
Taos Skies ---> Liner Notes
"An Instrumental Vision Quest By Glen Spreen"
Imagine that you are alone in the New Mexico desert, sitting silently on the rim of a rugged canyon as the last warm rays of sun fade from soft orange to pale violet, and then to black. There is a moment between twilight and dusk - a half life of shadows - that if you listen carefully with your heart, you can hear the desert whisper the names and stories of those who have passed this way throughout time.
A Yaqui Shaman teaches us that we can only truly see with our eyes wide shut. In that same spirit, if you close your ears to the world around you and redirect your musical perception inward, new possibilities can awaken.
This album began as a musical dream. If you heed its call and walk that inner path of listening with your heart, you will experience the vision of Taos Skies.
